I know I’ll probably never even try 90% of the things you and Kevin try but I always watch all your videos, especially when I’m working at home it’s nice to hear your opinions etc 😂
I agree; It's good to be curious. Though sometimes I do end up being persuaded to try things I would've never considered to try myself... They know how to hype things up!
The cherry pie is very delicious 😋 I did get the pumpkin for Thanksgiving . Thanks for this review you both are so helpful when it comes to do all these food reviews . Love watching you both 😍
YES! By far the BEST pies available to purchase. We are pie snobs and always make our own. No more. Village Pie Maker pies are worthy of what you pay for them and the elimination of the time investment to make your own. We agree with both of your assessments for the apple and the pumpkin. I am not a pumpkin pie fan, but this one, I will eat (It IS creamy. You described that well!) Thank you for a fun review.
Yummm, I’m looking forward to going to Aldi’s and hope they have them. My Aldi’s is hit or miss with products stocked in store. Awesome review. Thank you for baking and sharing with us. I enjoy your music selection all the time. Have a terrific Saturday.
Ok, so I’m gonna need to get the pumpkin. It’s so hard to find a bought pumpkin pie that meets up to the homemade pies I grew up on...especially the crust... and I’m all about the crust. I’ll definitely be looking for it. Thank you guys
I don't know if you remember back in the late 90s slash early 2000s Pepperidge Farms sold microwavable pot pies much like the Marie Callender once were you microwave them in the box. The crust on these pies was phenomenal and then they discontinued the pies. I still dream about that crust to this very day and then when I had the village pie maker I was flooded with the taste again
Thank you for the review I saw these in my Safeway and I was wondering if they were any good I think I'll be getting these for Thanksgiving. I had no idea they were made in my state either.
Already tried the very tasty cherry last year, just got the Apple today, cost $19.99 in pricey San Diego at Albertson's $14.99 with a $5 off coupon (sold year round, here), so hoping it will be worth the inflated price!
I find the apple pie at our Aldi before Memorial weekend and I buy a couple at a time because I won't see them again until the next year. I want to try the pumpkin now so I hope I can find one. I don't think they ship.
I prefer a pumpkin pie that's not overspiced. I still think that the Edwards pumpkin cream pie is the best. I wasn't able to find it last year and haven't seen it yet this year. I hope it hasn't been discontinued. Thanks for the great review as usual.
Have you tried the new Marie Calendar Confetti Birthday Cake Cream Pie or the Chocolate Brownie Cream Pie- You just thaw and serve them. Also, Screamin Sicilian dessert pizzas? I recently noticed them in the stores but I haven't had them.
I was actually excited for this finally got one after seeing them for years in the store. And my 100% review on this is that it was not worth it, the crust was excellent but there wasn't even enough of it it took so long to cook that the bottom crust almost dissolved into the pie itself and because the pie took so long to cook it actually overcooked the apples and turn them into mush the tasted just like applesauce. So I will say the best one I've had out of all the apple pies would be Mrs Smith's Marie Callender is great but overall Mrs Smith wins. However the village pie maker crust is the best out of them all
I like pumpkin pie, apple pie not so much... (Not a fan of the texture of cooked apples) I like my pumpkin pie without the crust and with extra spice. (And the obligatory whipped cream!) Also I wanted to share something I made today that I think you'd like... I had apples I wanted to use up, so I sliced them, dipped them in almond bark and coated them with finely chopped up snickers bars... They were a hit! (And simple too!)
I think the apple one could do worth an egg wash before putting it in the oven. The apple one does sound good, it would be my choice. A dollop of whipped cream would wonderful. Thanks for the review.
I contemplated this back and forth even on the ride home was it still in the bag LOL I always put an egg wash on the pies I only didn't with this one because I wanted to give it its honest review but I told myself if I was to get this again it was definitely getting an egg wash

These are a seasonal find, so they should be restocked well throughout the next month/2
Thank you so much, Kathy!
They are a “seasonal find” for the next month/2, so they should be restocked regularly :)
Yum 😋 this is my fav time of year with all the yummy foods. I’m gonna pick up both of these at my Aldi’s. Thanks for your great review 🙏🏻🙏🏻🎃🎃
I hope you enjoy them!

Hopefully they will get the pumpkin for the fall.

I think they discontinued it and replaced some others with newer recipes unfortunately.
I live in Nebraska. This year was the first time ive seen them in Aldi. They are sold in other flavors year round in grocery stores here
That's great!
I Live in Lincoln NE. Super saver had them during holidays for cheaper price paid under$10.00 I got the blue berry nearly zested it with Lemon.
I’m going to be on the lookout for the apple! Great review
Thank you 🙏🏻

That sounds incredible!
These were $17.99 at Kroger yesterday so thankful my wife didn't buy them if we can find that price at Aldi. We had never seen them before.
I hope you find them!
Why are you so Thankful for That?
@@OliverLoganBlue ?
@@OliverLoganBlue Tami paid $12.97 which is better priced than $17.99!

Village pie maker is my dream job
My wife and I think you guys should change the name of the channel to TK reviews. Because Kevin is in pretty much every video now.
kevin has been in it years lol since the beginning of time
I've seen cherry , apple and the pumpkin at my Aldi's .
We bought the cherry, but it was at Kroger. I’m glad you found all 3 at Aldi.

That’s great!

People like me When we want Pie We Want It Right Away So These Along with Other Frozen Based Pies Are Pretty much Useless to Us
