man oh man this is a great lesson, much more than just pressure with law, but the basic understanding of general movement, frame advantage, side steping of tekken. you should consider making more content. Congratulations!!
This video is old but I continue to come back to it from time to time, because as a growing playing sometimes forgetting key things about good pressure tend to slip my mind. Thank you for the great video.
3:43 dude that part explaining frame data is golden. You should make a general "fighting games frame data" video with just that, would probably get gaztrilliion views.
So glad I subscribed. Your comprehensive guides and presentation are always spot on and have helped my law a great deal. I wish you all the best in the future.
Your break down of frame advantage was easier to digest than any content creator i watched. Ty my brotha, you was cookin with this one. 🙏 Edit: and i dont even play law, i main jin in T8, but i feel like the information can be universally applied in the game
Been hearing from tekken streamers like avoiding the puddle and mainman and how they were talking about frames and didn't have a clue what they were talking about. Now I understand about frames now so thank you for this nice piece of info
There are a ton of tips and other gems in this besides the basics of pressure. Really great job man, some of us love the longer vids too. DSS pressure coming? Ah man your the best.
Very very very nice video. I'd consider myself somewhere between intermediate advanced by now so knew most of this but man is your explanation so elegant. I'm happy this channel exists. Keep it up!

I've been thinking of writing this concept down myself for a couple of friends that struggle to understand it and apply it in a regular match. This will do much better: clear, to the point, with basic and effective demonstrations. Thank you, man!
I know, I never actually forgot Yoshi's flash and Ling's b1 while making this video. But I chose to omit them anyway because this video is just aimed for players who dont know fundamentals. I just dont wanna confuse them lol.
@@LegendKicker Oh yeah, yeah, I meant it more as a joke lol. Those are match-up related scenarios, way too specific to be covered in a video focused on fundamental knowledge: for educational purposes, mentioning evasive moves - as you did - is just enough to raise awareness of 'alternative means' some characters might have.
Great content man👍. Can you also make a series where you show us the decision making against a particular character in the new Replay Mode, with frames etc. Please, we can see the Law School in action against a character n learn the matchup n tactics etc.
Thank you., For this video.,. I will watch it now ... I asked you for this video, and you kept the promise .... Thank you very much, the best TH-camr and the best channel for learning to play with law Thank you very much ❤❤❤❤
Just now coming back to tekken after 3+ years good to refer back to these videos because ive been getting my butt whooped recently because i just lost my touch last game or tekken game i played was tekken revolution and i was a fujin
Hey this was actually a very good guide/tutorial. More of these 👀 Do you Play other characters whom you have the same insight on, as you do with law ?👀
I'm a beginner Law player and I rarely rely on the cheap moves that you've mentioned, so I guess I'm doing something right to start with. Thanks for the video !!
@@bartek4536 spamming isnt illegal. Dont believe in any rules of honor in fighting games. If they cant block dragontails, it really is their problem not yours. you just blew my fucking mind thank you lol. Do you have any videos on basic standing up videos? or advice I am trash at standing up and being combo'ed or stopping a mid attack combo with law.
I wish I would’ve found this video a few years ago. I’ve been a Law “main” (I still suck at this game) and I’ve definitely been guilty of abusing junkyard and DSS f3 and now it’s hard to break the habit of using those.
@Legendkicker please help me with the dragon spin kick in that junkyard kick, the legendary kick is easy in this junkyard, but am having difficulty in spin kick
Just picked up tekken and decided to play Law because he's very fun to use. Thanks for these guides. Hopefully I'll someday beat the shit out of Noctis. This guy beat me 15 times in a row arghh!
Paul can still do a reversal after he gets hit by a df1 though...since reversals and parries comes out at 2 or 3 frames I guess. I have faced many players that does that...
Might be the beer talking, but I'm curious. Would Law be broken if all flip kicks were DFS/DSS cancellable? So d/f 4~3, D4~3 to flip kick being DFS/DSS cancellable: would that break the game?
Now I can see why people consider him top tier. All of his main poke is safe and he can ss them to continue pressure and when you add dss, it becomes a mind game if he will complete a safe string or not. lol And if he gets a hit he continues the pressure. This is legitness.
I believe the reference to law in the title makes the video very niche focused. "only interested in playing with law" will attend. If you remove the name law and just put "the basic pressure in tekken" you would have a lot more views.
This is good but how do we stop Lucky Chloe from crushing DF+1 with a hopkick after she eats laws DB+3...I found that B+4 works but it's broken AF that i had to do this...this needs to be fixed
This is really good content dude! Seasoned Law player but the way you explained frame data so quickly is great.
🤓🤓🏊♂️
Hands down one of the best Law guides out there! You should be getting more views man
Easily the best.
Its about tekken in general
I've watched 4 videos already and I've learned a lot not only about law but also about tekken 7 mechanics. Great video!
Let me put it short, you are amazing. Explanations are Crystal clear.

finally an update.. waiting this for so long 😁
Sorry I was just busy with life. Lol
Lol I didnt notice that I put -14 for a blocked d2,3. But anyways, you guys get the point
thanks for calling out the people who have no clue what they are missing out on when they play law like trash.
Lol exactly! haha

This is the best tutorial about Tekken 7 Law.
This video is not only great for learning law, for learning Tekken in general, this video is great

Seriously awesome video! Liked and Subbed! Your crash course on frame data was perfect :)
Thanks so much for this video. Love to see u back
This ist the best Video about Frames i´ve ever seen.
good stuff as a fellow exclusive law main i admire the efforts you put into making law videos.
Amazing explanations, you are very good teacher Sifu !
Best video I’ve seen for frames!
i've started to watch him yesterday, was 18dan, now 22, so much important informations
This was really helpful to clarify and simplify Tekken fundamentals, thanks a lot man
Thank you for all the efforts u put in every video u make, very usefull for me as a Law main, God bless you🙏
Really good stuff. Find it hard to get it all at once but it's up the hill at this point.
The music is awesome!!! Is that a remix of Prodigy?
Hey thanks! glad u liked it. The music is Law's stage from Tekken 3
Finally understand how frames work in tekken thanks
Dude thanks for this
really good video, even tho I already know all of this stuff, It was still cool watching the whole thing.
Side-Note: a jab is mostly -17 on whiff
From what I have observed, you're very good with Law's WR4 DSS throw. I haven't even seen Rip, JFJ, and Malgu use that move efficiently.
Thats probably because their opponents are good in breaking throws
At their level, they are good at breaking throws and that's why you see double only uses ws+4,2,b+2 as poking.
excellent tutorial and great examples👍
lmao it's guide about law but this actually helped me a lot to understand how to play kazumi properly. Thanks a lot.
No it's not its about tekken in general

Big thanks to MR Legend kicker himself I can now get while standing 4 counter hit 3+4 9 times out of 10. To easy
This is amazing guide! My Law is not so great but this is exactly what I was looking for, thanks for helping great video keep it up man ❤️

Very informative. This is a very recommendable vid for newbies
Video i was waiting for.
Thanks your df1 magic 4 helped me beat a prime god josie sometimes
Proud to say I’m the 99th like. Keep at it.💪
Hey this was actually a very good guide/tutorial. More of these 👀
Do you Play other characters whom you have the same insight on, as you do with law ?👀
I do. But each character plays different than Law
Good video
I'm a beginner Law player and I rarely rely on the cheap moves that you've mentioned, so I guess I'm doing something right to start with. Thanks for the video !!
No such thing as cheap moves, every move has their use
@@DragonOfMTL I'm not very keen on spamming Dragon tail, though.
@@bartek4536 spamming a move becomes a problem if your opponent starts reacting to it.
@@DragonOfMTL I was waiting for this and that's true. However, as I mentioned before I'm a low rank and I know I could get away with it.

they were DSS cancellable before but could still be punished. Those existed just for combos. Not setups
do you feel that law now has some sort of tracking problem?

Laws...123 is -6 what advice do you have on this
parry them if they like pressing buttons after. You can also still sidestep the mids and lows but not the fast highs.
Don't listen to this dude. Just d 2 3
So basically lab 60 chars lol tekken I love it
