This was the first 2012 figure me and my brother got as kids. Thanks to this figure being at a post office at the right time it got me and him into the series as a whole
the hook swords are called the twin hooks they were used by the monk on deadliest warrior. the one thing i really like is i have my Raph holding his Sais and i store the twin hooks on his back and they fit really nicely in the belt loops for the sais. This figure is awsome i just ordered the rest of them today.
Raph is the angriest of the bunch, so it makes sense to me to give him a darker green skin. Mikey on the other hand is more lighthearted, which translates well to his light green color. I'm really happy with thes Turtles. I don't regret importing them from the US one bit. Let's hope they hit European/other countries' stores quickly too.
I just purchased two verisons of Raphael from this line. One to to keep on the card and another to dispaly loose. I love the detail he has and the range of motion. Like Pixel Dan, Raph in my favorite Turtle of the four and continues to be to this day.

But Pixel Dan! With all these Turtles, how are they gonna get around?!....With the SHELLRAISER of course!!! Hope you get one and do a review of that soon! I saw one at target and it just instantly brought back all sorts of memories when I had a Party Van. :)
Yep but the Re-Shelled version (which I've only played a demo of). 360 had Turtles in Time Re-Shelled & the original Arcade game (complete with the original music & voice-over unlike the Battle Nexus port of the game).
***** Am I right in saying that only Raphael's right hand is molded to hold the sai between his knuckles? The left hand on mine has plastic running quite far up between his fingers, so he can only hold his weapons in the standard way. I was wondering if this is a production issue on mine, or whether it's like this on everyone's. Thanks, and great reviews by the way.
I'm just now picking these guys up. Only need Donatello to complete the brothers. I think they're the most "ninja-y" sculpts to be had outside of the Loyal Subjects new sculpts.
It's kind of funny... I have the Raphael action figure and no matter how you bend his arms, he CANNOT reach his sais. He can't sheath them or grab them to pull them out! Funny, right?!
Raph is the only figure i need haha i bought Leo myself which was the last Leo of its kind in the store then i found Donnie too that day but i didn't have enough for both so i bough Leo since Leo is my fav turtle and hoped i'd get Donnie which was the last Donnie in the store later and who knew. Later i got SCFE and had surgery and my grandma and grandpa had bought the Donnie figure for me :D then i bought Mikey online and i will buy Raph online too later on.
Yeah, i always thought Mike was the darkest one... But im happy about it, because the dark skin doesnt really look that good on the toy, and i wouldnt like my favourite turtle to look bad on my shelf. No offence, but i really think that they went a bit overboard with Raph.

Raphael poses the best of all the figures in my opinion. also, I like the darker green skin more than the other three turtle's lighter skin tones.

I wouldn't say that, I think the animation is pretty good, its kind of like the animation for Transformers Prime, you just need to get used to it.

those extra weapons would go to good use, if you wanted to army build the foot soldiers, so thay have a variety of weapons
