Hi Charles, what are your thoughts on doing a virtual everesting on Zwift as part of the preperation for an outdoor everesting?

Great question man! It's definitely a lot different, you use less your core, arms and hands on zwift than in real life, but a vEveresting can be easier and faster since you can eat, go to washroom, and chill will going downhill! I might do one this winter, well see!!

Pros : the ones Charles mentioned and also weather elements are out of the equation as well. Some cons: you will generate way more heat so ventilation is more important. And you'll be in a way more rigid position for a long time. Also, boredom. But these are all solvable cons!

Was the winspace comfortable to spend a long period of time on?

Good question! With a good saddle and hands position, I'd say yes just as any other bikes. I did not feel that the bike was uncomfortable

I am 16 and I am going to be attempting the Everest soon . Any suggestions about tyres ?

Hell yes!!! Good luck. I'd say any tires are fines, make sure your don't start with a worn out rear tire, to prevent it from puncture

I read the rules of everesting, they say you are to go up and down the same hill, not to loop because it’s like going up one face of the mountain and down the other face. Has your ride been verified?

In my preparation video I mentionned that I did not care about the ''rule'' all I wanted to do was the d+. I picked this hill because it was a big challenge to do a 16.2% climb and a perfect location for a party/event. In the middle of the city, park on top etc... next year I'll go for a good time and follow all the rules
