It’s a good idea. Instead of forming a new airport at Parandur, the existing airport can be developed by acquiring surrounding the available land surrounding , including defence land.
Dr. Anbumani Ramadoss M.P told that about 5000 acres of government land is available in Thiruporur. If thats correct and suitable, that would be quite close to Chennai and a suitable alternative. The fields in parandur yield 3 crops a year, so sad if thats finalized

Yes international has to be outside city. Moreover last 10 years growth ,you can’t consider to forecast future. Chennai flights are very expensive. You can goto Mumbai or delhi cheaper than goto Chennai that is why not many Poeple are using Chennai. That is the reason for low usage, actual population requirement is already more.I goto Bangalore to take flights because of cost difference.why Chennai cost is more because they have less flights option as they don’t have enough space for more flights.if more flights comes then price will reduce hence more people will come. Bullent train will be failure project now, per capita income is not that much people to afford it, domestic air travel is less bcz of affordability, if that air travel become cheaper or per capita increase people will to domestic more then trians, also last year data is not accurate, current demand may be high, cost of putting bullet train is more then airport, apart from all farming is important , goverment must to convert normal land to farm land for some all projects
The youtuber should read the Pre- feasibility report of Parandur airport, which contains the detailed study about why we choose Parandur airport instead of other three sites-Thiruporur, Mamndoor and Pannur and talk. He may not have read the report but clearly you have not understood what he says in the video. He says 1200 acre land is available in Meenambakkam. Secondly, Mumbai is handling 1100+ flights with the same area as present airport i.e. 3 times. Moreover, having a domestic airport so far away in Parandur increases the cost of overall travel because taxi fare could be as much as domestic air ticket cost. If such a detailed report is available and you have read it why don't you counter the points i have highlighted above, Stupid post!!!

Yes international has to be outside city. Moreover last 10 years growth ,you can’t consider to forecast future. Chennai flights are very expensive. You can goto Mumbai or delhi cheaper than goto Chennai that is why not many Poeple are using Chennai. That is the reason for low usage, actual population requirement is already more.I goto Bangalore to take flights because of cost difference.why Chennai cost is more because they have less flights option as they don’t have enough space for more flights.if more flights comes then price will reduce hence more people will come. More over defense is equally important so we can’t take their land. The new airport is not considered to solve today problems it is required for future population, especially our kids will use it. Without all these tamilnadu will day by day will lose all it business, all those and new business will move to near city like Bangalore Hyderabad etc. then this same fool will blame government saying their kids don’t get job etc

The youtuber should read the Pre- feasibility report of Parandur airport, which contains the detailed study about why we choose Parandur airport instead of other three sites-Thiruporur, Mamndoor and Pannur and talk. I am of the opinion he has not read the report and talking. wrong info is spread to the public. Unfortunate.
He may not have read the report but clearly you have not understood what he says in the video. He says 1200 acre land is available in Meenambakkam. Secondly, Mumbai is handling 1100+ flights with the same area as present airport i.e. 3 times. Moreover, having a domestic airport so far away in Parandur increases the cost of overall travel because taxi fare could be as much as domestic air ticket cost. If such a detailed report is available and you have read it why don't you counter the points i have highlighted above, Stupid post!!!
