I´m not Dylan, but I just bought 10 for 15$ from ebay, center trac 8-balls in gold color. They are dirt cheap, but they work fine. I just got them today which is why I can´t tell you about how long they last yet.
One downside I noticed right away is, they have more play between the balls and the outer ring compared to more expensive ones which makes them really noisy.
I use one of those dry right now on my daily throw to see how long it will survive under worst possible condition.

When I'd go to club, I'd bring my small tackle box along which housed some spare strings, bearing removal tools, counter weights, and some bearings. This fit in the zipper compartment on my bag. Haven't gone to club in a while but should I find time and go again, some 0a throws would be coming along as an alternate style to play with.
If I weren't bringing my bag and just a couple of throws, I'd probably bring my multitool along (Leatherman style) as it has it all in 1 device.
