Im happy for you and proud of your success. NCL invited you because you give good content and you do it cheerfully and professionally. Continued success and continue putting out great content.😊😊
Truthfully, I would LOVE to see it first hand, walk the decks and halls and see all the fabulous new restaurants, but (just my taste) a ship this size is not for me. I love the 2000 passenger ships and how quiet and peaceful they are. But for anyone that likes this type of cruising, they're obviously going to have a fabulous time.
Booked on the Aqua in December 2025 so this video is most interesting. We are NCL frequent cruisers and look forward to more of your videos specific to their ships.
Hi, great video. NCL just sent out an update to their free at sea offerings. Would like to see a video on the changes. We have a 12 day sailing in Feb 25.
I am waiting for the first opportunity to try the NCL Aqua!!! I can only imagine some changes are a response to feedbacks. I was on the VIVA and it is a beautiful ship. Some venues were a bit small but the rest is awesome. The Food Hall is a great concept. Loved it. The stateroom was great (I had an inside cabin) and was very comfortable. First time watching how the put things together!! Great video!
Hi thank you. We are set to sail on the Aqua in August. I really wish they had kept the go carts and had the 2 beds with 2 baths like the joy the family suites. I was looking forward sailing on the Joy but our travels changed. I can't wait to go on my trip.
I am cruising Aqua in May 2025. I think it will be the third or fourth cruise for Aqua. Setting sail from Port Canaveral, FL with port stops in Dominican Republic, US and British Virgin Islands, and NCLs island in the Bahamas. I am beyond excited. This will only be my third cruise and the last one, I had broken my ankle the day before. So I’m hoping to fully enjoy the cruise experience this time round!
That was an awesome video, thank you for sharing this! My wife and I are cruising again at the end of the year and my wife pushed me to purchase for myself the "Behind the Fun" Carnival tour that is nearly a 4 hour tour of the ship while at sea. Have you ever taken a tour like this and what was your take on it? Thanks!
@@LifeWellCruisedGREAT video!! Thanks for a wonderful tour. @Steven, we are going to Bermuda in 10days on NCL & I purchased “Behind the Scenes Tour” for my hubby as a 30th wedding anniversary gift💝. He’s a heavy equipment mechanic & I thought he would really enjoy this!! I’ll come back an update you as to how it was if you’d like that, have a great trip.
SCOOP! Well done, that was fascinating. We’re booked on the initial transatlantic trip from Southampton to Boston, I’m looking forward to a trip to Salem! The one big change I want with The Local is for it to follow the O’Sheehan’s model - there’s no point being open 24/7 if it only serves food for relatively few of those hours. The top three decks I’ll likely not bother with as they’re the ugly slide areas, but there looks to be loads to keep me happy…there’s no reason a ship should be entirely tailored to me, let the kids have their fun. But boy, those tubes going down several decks are ugly!
So glad you enjoyed it! I think there may me more space on this ship (maybe I’m wrong) due to the race track not being there. Either way a big ship so I agree with you :)
We just came off a back to back on Viva in the Mediterranean.. 19 days. Nice ship, but some venues are too small. Food not what it once was either in dining rooms. Really enjoyed Indulge Food Hall.
Indulge Food Hall was absolutely best part of the Viva. Le Bistro is the only specialty restaurant I would do again because the main dining room as good as any of the others.
You can make it sound as great as you want but unless they significantly up the quality of the food I’m done with NCL. It says something when you’ve been on a week long cruise and come home the same weight as when you left (actually a few ounces less). It’s just wrong that in order to have even average quality food you have to dine in a specialty restaurant. Every single chicken dish I ordered was dry, tasteless and overcooked to the point that one night I couldn’t even cut it. On one night the wait at all three of the main complementary restaurants was over 45 minutes for two people. We were tired and hungry after a long walking excursion so we went up to the buffet. What a mistake. I ate rice for dinner that night. On a positive note, the bread in the specialty restaurants is great.
@@LifeWellCruised the Joy. Those were just a few of the food issues that came to mind as I was typing. I’m in no way a food snob and I don’t think my expectations were high, after all they’re feeding 4000 people multiple times a day. On the whole it was just to disappointing to consider NCL again.
I have a question with your successful TH-cam channel and social media channels. Do you personally have to pay for all the cruises you’ve gone on or are they discounted to you so you talk about them in your videos or do you not have to pay for any of them?
@@LifeWellCruised thank you for responding. I didn’t think I would get a response. I also wanna let you know that your videos are extremely helpful for people who’s never been on a cruise or what to expect when on a cruise I finally went on my first cruise in July of this year and it was fantastic. I booked my next one going to the Caribbean for fall of 2025. I took your advice. I went to the cruise port the night before and got a hotel room so I would not have to rush day of my hotel was two blocks from the cruise port so I had no issues getting on board. Keep up the good work and thank you for being so informative to People. It’s really appreciated by many.
