I've done pretty much all my favorite Final Fantasy songs at this point, but there's still a few that I've been meaning to get to... and JENOVA is one of them.
I used this song to close out the 2021 PSX Medley, but that cleary wasn't enough JENOVA for us. So I present to you... more JENOVA.

I love the song, though i disagree about the game, it’s a little overrated. I would give it an 8.5/10. The FF that is closest to 10/10 would be FF9 in my opinion, it’s the most critically acclaimed.

He ended it with the source of Sephiroth’s madness.
You did Jenova very proud. She'd probably praise you for this glorious tribute in her name, if she wasn't always hellbent on wiping out humanity. Absolutely superb remix of the killer alien smother mother's theme.

The version in 2021's Playstation Tribute Medley already slaps but I'm super happy this got a full remix because this one goes H A R D. It's a popular FF track and you've made it sound unique, great job!

Holy hell Jonny drops JENOVA! This is gonna be damn great!
This song always kicks ass and your cover doesn't fail to live up. I *love* the sequence near the end of the game before the final JENOVA fight where the party is going deeper and deeper into the crater with this song blaring as you fight through waves of enemies.
That's the elevator sequence with the Iron Giants and stuff right?
For some reason, I thought the medley with JENOVA was more recent than it is! It's always been top tier, though, so I'm glad to see it given the full treatment.
That said... I also thought it was gonna be the last May Madness song this year, and I'd have to send my usual vote yet again next year... but look who's on the horizon :>

Nowadays, I always think about JENOVA on Mother's Day, which was two and a half weeks ago, mind you. This was also the first-ever Final Fantasy 7 song (and Final Fantasy music in general) that I've ever heard. Really great remix you've made, and a great way to end May madness as well.

Hell yeah, this was my most wanted May Madness song and it's awesome to finally see it done! Sucks I couldn't get the gameplay footage tho, schoolwork and demotivation are an awful combo. That solo gives me life tho holy shit it's so good. Phenomenal job as always, Jonny!

One-Winged Angel tends to be the most popular track from Final Fantasy VII, but I've seen J-E-N-O-V-A so highly rated among fans that I think it might just be the second most popular track from the game. Don't quote me on that, though, since it's not long Nobuo Uematsu has a shortage of epic bangers in any given Final Fantasy game.
Wario and Pizza Tower have some great bangers, too! I hope to see Jonny do covers of a few of them one day!

What's weird is that I grew up in that weird time where I played X (got to confronting Sin but due to how long the 4 boss fight gauntlet took was never able to enter it), a little bit of XII, but my bread and butter were the GBA remakes of I-VI. I loved those games to death.
