    I have been a huge fan and subscriber since march 2020 you are the first person I ever learned the stock market from. And last year you preached survival because you said alot of people dont make it. Here we are and I am still in the markets and I see everything you said came true and I'm thankful for everything you teach to us. I'm grateful for the when will the insanity stop segments it teaches alot and proves everything you teach. Thanks for the video I am excited to learn about reversals I think this is my favorite style of trading.

    The bear sandwich at 28:00 looks like the trapped opening bell shorts covering at break even, or they averaged out at a slight profit. The buying into the close of the engulfing candle is a massive hint it's going to break though resistance and the covering is solid imo.

    Great content as usual, thanks Jared. Quick question: there’s a lot of emphasis placed on bottoming tails representing buyers stepping up. How do you tell the difference between the legitimate bottoming tail (buyers stepping up) vs a bottoming tail that appears.because market makers took out a stop loss? Does a bottoming tail need to be accompanied by big volume to legitimize it? Thanks

    • @Live.Traders
      @Live.Traders  3 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Price and Volume are everything. So YES, volume is very important. Price tells us what is happening and volume tells us HOW it's happening...With or without commitment. Cheers!

    • @Ykxdigital
      @Ykxdigital 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      When market maker took out a stop loss, this is also equivalent to saying short trade being stopped out, and hence sellers will have to buy back their position at a much higher price, this bottoming tails that is created is 'much equivalent' to buyers coming in to push up the price, it is the same thing. of course context is crucial.

    Hey Jared, Sept ends 1st year trading. Very small account has doubled. Enjoying the time spent to learn. One thing not seeing much of is how to trade after hours an premarket. Stops do not trigger at those times. Mostly I scalp,but could've done better holding for swing trades. A few days to a week. Other times really glad to be out. Any advice? Thanks Jared.

    Great video , I love charts . There's one thing I'd like to see in a future video like recent market action,say Aug was a good month , indicies made several new highs which helps individual stocks but sept turned into a cowpie for me couldn't see much on the charts but I think it was 9/20 a monday but I got killed but I'd like to see on a chart where a good pullback will occur, we don't seem to have real crashes anymore ,last was 2009. But I also look at the s+p carpet and all you see is red .I don't have fancy software but I look at lots of charts and they don't seem to match a pattern ,they write it off to politics or the spoof or afghanistan . Basically how does a chart predict something like this? I lost a whole months gains mostly in one day.

    That sloppy mess at 37:42 is all I see in most stocks I find in my morning gap scan Im watching for the day. Theyre always all over the place like that with topping tails making entry hald to figure out, just as JW says he wouldnt fault you for not taking. It gets so frustrating with stocks chopping around like that when you know theyre gonna go higher but youre fighting with yourself to fig out entry point and then..... BOOM it jumps going higher on the next bar, no resting bar, higher and higher and then it drops back down to reality!
