Jared - this video + your breakouts video (recent), are pure gold. Understanding the context of the candle to the chart while seems like a very simple idea, many people fail to accurately read it (including myself at time). These two videos I watched this weekend are priceless. I love your content. Infact, when I first started trading, you forced risk management into my head and while being a year old trader, never have blown up my account. I am way to cautious to allow that to happen and you helped me with that. thank you!

  • @frankjones4357
    @frankjones4357 3 ปีที่แล้ว

Great stuff and much appreciated. I took some notes. Here are a few bullet points:
Understand what the bars me within the CONTEXT of the chart!
Try to incorporate the premarket movement into the current day’s movement.
A couple bars can change the entire complexion of a chart.
Understand the difference between and Igniting Bar and an Ending Bar. An Igniting Bar is one long Candlestick with high Volume at the bottom; often accompanied with high Volume. An Ending bar is the same, only at the top
Narrow range bars indicate a slowing of momentum.
Small Cap Bio Techs present some of the greatest opportunity in today’s market.
The further you get away from the MA, the more volatile the trade becomes, and the greater the chance of a pullback.
There are two types of correction. One through Price the other through Time.
Here is one I added: “Volume is Cause, Price is Effect.”

Been a while since last time I watched one of your videos Mr Wesley and honestly... i missed them soo much, so much information you could rewatch it 3 times and still learn something new each time. I was off procrastinating on my studies, had a family and mental situation which didnt help, but now everything is fine and im back, and i didnt lose any money, tried not to trade, even though i probably did 2-3 swing trades in this past month, and closed all of them with a profit, bring my month up to 30% of my account. didnt execute my plan perfectly in one of them, a win that was supposed to get me 5k, only maybe 3k, i didnt sell at resistance, i thought the momentum was strong, but the resistance was stronger. anyways ill be catching up to ur videos. have a good one Mr. Wesley.

Please, at 29th minute - that bullish engulfing candle - isn't better to have first candle (red one) with lacking volume and second candle - the engulfing one to have higher volume than the first candle? So signal is stronger, the buyers are in stronger control rather than judging what sellers do? Thanks!

So im learning to swing trade and my issue right now is finding the proper trades to get into. Im about to try and look for stocks that are close to a solid support line that it has bounced off for multiple months in a row and see how that does. My question is though on stuff like that do you still take the fundamentals and catalysts its had over those past months into play or would you just play it and if it drops below that support get out. Also do you have any videos where you go through all the steps you do to buy a stock like screening, dd, and entry points. I dont think ive came across one video of a swing trader doing all of this and it would be awesome to see for some perspective on what to look for.

In response to the, when will when the insanity stop segment. You have these people on TH-cam (Chris Sain) telling their followers that if a stock goes down its only a loss if you sell. Paper losses don't matter. And average down, keep buying more of a losing trade. Its sad so many so called experts continue to give people horrible advice, costing them their money. Thank you Jared for always trying to teach the right way and never bullshitting people.

It seems people try to make themselves feel more comfortable with continuing to lose rather than learning what it takes to become profitable...you have to remember why you started, and how far you're willing to go to learn rather than how much you are willing to lose as if the universe will have mercy and let you win. I love trading too.

Started trading in June 2021 first time in my life. Never had a stock before.
Invested a lot of money on SPCE when it was over $40 per share. Didn't exit when it dropped as few thousand minus was big deal to lose and hoped of it coming up.
Also bought many bio pharma shares and became bag holder.
SPCE never came back up. Bad news after bad news. Sold this week at $13 something with $26k loss.
My biggest loss in anything in my life. Should have sold when I was few thousand down but that time it hurt to even think of loss.
I may have to do the same with dozens of other stocks as well. Would be so much better had I just put everything on Apple in June. Most of my savings is either gone or in huge minus.
New traders, don't play with a lot of money and NEVER HOLD in minus.
