The Citadel paints are great for model railways, looks great on there! My 25+ years background in GW/Wargames painting and with my returning interest in model railways, there are quite a lot of paints/techniques/products that crossover nicely from wargaming to model railways. Lovely work here and keep up the awesome work! 🤙
Thanks for your kind comments....I might try some Citadel paints in future but I have such a huge stock of enamels that need using up first! Regards Keith
The carriages look far better now! I have never had these carriages, not knowing what the under frames look like, but did you consider mounting the battery pack in the underframes?
Lovely. Thank you
What a vast improvement, both inside and out 👍
Thanks, Regards Keith

I did think of putting the battery underneath but there was not enough room, so I filled the space with lead to give much needed weight, Regards Keith
Great modelling skills to get everything to fit back into place. What did you think to the citadel wash and did you brush it on or use the airbrush?
The Citadel wash is great but to my mind very thin compared to my normal enamel paints. I brushed it on and in the end used 7 coats ! Cheers Keith
The newer Skeleton Horde Contrast Paint by Citadel May fair you better here as it’s still sepia but a lot more intense colour pigment.
Will try it the next time I do some teak coaches, Thanks @@MrTumnus1987
