I love the colors of the diamond painting. Pinks and purples are my favorite colors.
Today, I was able to knock out a row of my husband's canvas. I listened to an audio book, "A Soldiers Truth," A book about the path WW2 writer, Ernie Pyle traveled. He is from Dana, Indiana. He lived in the same town my grandma lives. I love history and tears fell a few times listening to his stories.
Hello zesties and Rebecca :) glad you have had a nice weekend! I had time off work last week which was so nice to recharge my batteries. Keep check of your mental health folks and take that time off you need before you burn out x 😊

Hi rebecca and everyone. Sorry it's been awhile since posting but we are still watching every video. April and May are always a rough time for us all here as its the anniversary of our 1st borns birthday in April and then her passing in May which was 17yrs this year.
On top of this I ended up poorly back in the beginning of April with the bad cough which is believed to be whooping cough and still going on. (Ironically the cause of our 1st borns passing) so it really hit hard with timing.
On the other hand the painting is looking fab and loving the waffles keep up the good work love me and Jay xx

26 Celsius is like 79 in Fahrenheit. Around here 79 is night time temperatures. High of 93 here today (33.89 Celsius). Yesterday I did a big reorganization in my garage. Practically gave myself a heat stroke. Had to take an hour break to rehydrate and keep from passing out. I got back out there after the break and finished what I started only because the thought of going back out there for another hot day made me want to cry. I just kept thinking finish fast so you can get back inside! It was worth it because it feels so much tidier now. I woke up with every part of my body sore. I’m out of shape!
Brown shoes with navy pants reminds me of stories my mom told me about my dad. My dad was color blind to a degree and he’d often come down for work in black pants and a navy blue jacket, or some other odd combination that didn’t go and would make him change before he left. 😂

I went down the rabbit hole on Google looking up the verse for “blue and green should never be seen”. So many versions. Beauty queen, Irish Queen, Fairy Queen, Colleen….the variations are fabulous. Yellow is a mellow fellow. And loads of other bits. Had to finally just let it go. LOL but it was fun!!

Hi Rebecca, we have had 27 degrees for the last 3 days Sunday23 to Tuesday25. I have been out and about in it but not enjoying it. We went over to Cumbria today it was cooler over there but was still 27 degrees when we got back at 7pm. We believe we have found another property and we will be putting our heads together tonight so decisions can be made.

You saying that there’s highs of 26 has me jealous, haha. Currently, the high for today will be 95 (35 Celsius) and fans are going and I’m only in a pair of bike shots and a tank top. I’m sweating sitting! The heat isn’t breaking for weeks.

hi zesties...in reference to the blue/green issue...blue and green must not be seen, without another color in between...this is what my mother said my grandmother always mentioned when they shopped for fabric...also wanted to say that i am loving the waffle, i am working on 2 canvases along with a WIP that i want finished....thanks for all you do

Hitting pause. Rebecca saying it’s hot and 22*? I’m in NC 🇺🇸 and today’s high is 34* 🥵 Tomorrow is supposed to be 36*. We haven’t had rain in weeks and the grass is brown, so on the flip side, I don’t need to mow 😂
Hi Rebecca. You just gave me a good laugh. I was finishing up the video for the 24th a little bit ago and you had commented on how your hands were damp because it had been so hot there this week, now this video you said you weren't even doing your laundry because of the heat. You said it was going to get up to 26°. Well, I just did the calculation and that's just almost 79°F. After about 3 weeks of 34-36°C, (mid 90's Fahrenheit), today it feels absolutely wonderful with a high around 27°C. We had a bit of a storm bring in a nice cold front yesterday. Of course it's going back up a little the next few days and July/August tends to be our hottest months so I'm thankful for today and having a good laugh at you Brits thinking 79° is too hot to function much. I'm even in the Midwest in Indiana so we don't get as bad or for as long as the South does. I am not a fan of summer except I love my little veggie garden, otherwise you will find me soaking up the AC inside. So I do get your hesitation to do much when it's "hot", I'm just amused by how our climates make our bodies perceive things so differently. I hope things get back to a comfortable temperature for you soon! 😊

Oh I do hope the surgery went as hoped and your recovery is going well! Laying and listening to Rebecca is how I recovered from my leg surgery last year, she's got such a soothing voice. 🥰
