These tutorials are very helpful...and user friendly! I just found out about this channel, and I don't regret from finding it!
Thank you!
I really liked the bumper intro part of this video. Could you make a video about the exact process of making it?
2024 & Where has this tutorial been all my life! Thank you!!!!
3 years later this vid is helping out, thanks man!!!
This is an awesome tip Kevin. It means I can just create a "Template" project and save anything I think I might want to use in the future in it. That way I won't have to go to my archive to find things I did a while ago
That’s a great tip too! Thanks!!
This is exactly what I was looking for to reuse 5-6 different things across multiple separate projects. Thank you so much for sharing. Will try and see if I can get things working. What I am worried about is that my projects and assets organization is all super duper messed up. There is no rhythm or rhyme to how I have the folders (on actual drive) and the bins (in premier pro) created. I always start out with a good system, but it gets messy along the way.
Yes. Organizing the files and folders is an art, something to practice. I used to be so sloppy at this and it drove me nuts. 👍
You really helped me out here, thanks!
can you redo this video for the new version
I can but is it different?
@@BasicFilmmaker yeah for me
@@twitch_molite17 Sorry. Don't inderstand why it would be different you. Maybe I am not understanding. Please explain...more words cost nothing. :)
thnx! Extremely helpful 👍
You're welcome!
Are you using a later version of Premiere? The one I'm using will only allow one project at at time to be open.
I'm using 2022. I think the version in this video was 2021.
Fab! Thanks. And I loved the zen moment.
I didn't know either, was going to export each project and then put them together which has sound stupid.
Thanks
That sounds really painful! LOL! 20 years in PPro and still finding stuff I ddin’t know I could do. I facepalm regularly. 😎
@@BasicFilmmaker overall this is probably the most fun part about being a filmmaker, new stuff won't stop comming
@@aa-vr8li Agreed. It’s the “always learning” something job. :)
Ctrl + c the required files to be copied
ctrl + shift + w = Take you to recent tab, click the project to be copied, once opened
Ctrl + v to paste it!
Cut all the blah blah 😑😑 do this ...
YOU are the hero here my friend. Thank you!
This is the way people. Could not be simpler.
Thank you for the video. I have a question please. I have different project packs that I am using to create my videos. A transition pack and an elements pack. The problem is I have to open it one by one, so I have to open both projects in my premiere pro. Is there a way to combine both project packs into one. Thank you in advance.
Import into one project
Thank You , this helped me a lot and saved an hour.😄😄😄😄😄GOD BLESS YOU
thank you Kevin, very helpful!
Glad it was helpful!
Super neat trick/tip ! Had no idea
Thanks man!!! 😁
I didn't know this but then I never needed to do it before. Great information that will come in handy, I'm sure. Thanks. 👍🦆
Thanks Gene!
This is great, however what if you want to copy assets that are not essential gfx between projects. Is there a quick way that you know of which will copy the assets into the new project and save them locally with that project?
No really as video and audio are placeholders to the real thing. You could dupe the project and media in a specific location.
Thank you very much 🙌
thank you so much. so obvious yet the video really helped to show exactly how to do this.
Thank you!
5:55 I don't think you're good to go. Because, and correct me if I'm wrong, ONE edit, and ALL the sequences in ALL projects are edited as well.
Huh? Sorry, not sure I understand this.
danke fürs video :)
thanks thanks thanks ...your a saviour
My mouth just droped XD
😃
i made a animated sub box that pops in and out of view. I've copy and pasted into the new project but the video doesn't show. I can hear the effect just don't see the animations. any idea? thanks!
If the animation is a VIDEO, make sure it's pointed to that video.
Many thanks for this tutorial - just what I needed 🍺
Great! Thanks for letting me know. 👍
Thank you so mutch Kevin.
👍
Thank you so much, this helps me a lot!
Thank you so much, Kevin! That was super easy! Great video! :)
Much appreciated!
It's Really worth to watch. Thanks Sir.
Thank you!!
can you show me how to organized my stuff like you did in this video please
Check out the channel. I have tons of videos on how to organize stuff. Recently I made a video that’s about 30 minutes long and how to make a TH-cam video from A-to-Z.
Thanks Alot
You saved my video of being 25 fps, Thanks dude!
Glad to hear it!
Really helpful, thanks for sharing, awesome!
Thank you Anthony!
Great information. Now what I need to discover... If I copy clip A from one project, into project B.... Then update clip A... Will B reflect that change? I would Love that.
Thanks but doesn't work for me. Latest version of premiere and when I copy paste one or more it has nothing to do with what I wanted to copy paste. Same length but random extract, I dont understand why.
Huh. Doesn't make sense to me that is doesn't work for you.
So i made an edit in 24fps becouse i was only beggining to edit in premiere and didnt know that it will be in 30 fps, i didnt edit my sequence. Can i copy that whole project and paste it into another sequence with 60fps? or i need to do it all over agian?
You can, but if you use 60fps on 24fps footage, it will try and interpret the in-between frames, and I don't think you'll get what you want.
I wish I knew this a long time ago. Thanks for the info Kevin!
Glad it helped!
Thank you very much Kevin! You saved me a lot of time :)
Hi I need help whenever I export a vid its just black
I would need a LOT more info to determine what's happening.
@@BasicFilmmaker well thanks for replying I fixed it
@@MIAKY Awesome!
bwhaha I'am such i noob, I knew how to copy and paste... but it wasn't working. until this video. you have to select the channel its going too. OMG Thanks for the reminder :)
When it comes to Premiere Pro, I think everyone is noob at something. After 20 years I'm still finding cool stuff I didn't know was in ther!
Thankq so much
Welcome!!!
Cant you just save it in your library as a motion graphic file, to use on other projects? Also is there a way to copy an in-out section of a timeline to another project or timeline without leaving cuts in the original timeline. thanks
x
Sure. You could save it as a motion graphic and have it always available. Copying an IN and OUT point without cutting - not that I know of.
thanks
QUESTION: Can you copy & paste multiple projects when using an older version of Premiere Pro, say CS5?
cnlicnli Nope. Multiple projects was introduced in CC versions 12 I believe. But, you can always cope the existing project and use as a starting point.
@@BasicFilmmaker Thanks for your quick reply!
Anytime!
Thanks!
Welcome!
Thanks a ton, Kevin. Very helpful and informative. I could benefit from a download of your brain. Think I'll check out some of the other videos you reference. Thanks again!
Glad it was helpful! And you don't want a download of my brain. It can be a scary place. :)
thanks man
👍
Certainly doesn't work trying to copy paste from 2021 to 2020 XD
Thanks allot!!!!!!!
You're welcome!
Good video I need a mic 🎙 🎤 Bad what’s the best and the cheapest I can get I need to work I am out of cash
If you’ve got a phone, use it. Stick it in your pocket or buy a cheap lapel that works with the phone.
After using Premier since 1996 I never figured how to copy and change text in a title and not have the original title text change no matter what text editorial premiere was using.
Yes. Used to drive me crazy. Finally PPro doesn’t do that anymore. 👍
@@BasicFilmmaker And I dumped Premiere CC 2 years ago Because they dumped the Help file Glossery and index they had in they still had in Premiere CS3 I need a good interactive Help file because of CRS (Can't Remember Shit) Thanks for your vids though.
HoundDogMech Yep. It’s all online now.
@@BasicFilmmaker Yep. It’s all online now. BS by the time I search the NET I've forgotten what I'm even trying to accomplish. See that's what's wrong with young people today. Programmers have NO idea what Students and O'l gezzers really need to keep from becoming complacently frustrated, Even people trying to explain how to accomplish something. Every one learns differently but when you go too fast or don't explain every HEY STROKE you loose the neophyte and Bore the experienced person. Guess there's no winning here.
I wish all you tubers would index their instructional videos (so they can be searched in any order) by date, title, subject, version of software and experience level. Thanks for the greate work. Keep on Keep'n on Bro.
You bet and LOL! Old geezers. Hey! I resemble that remark. 😀
I am NOT going to comment on this. (it was good) 😀
1:35 tho lol
😃
@@BasicFilmmaker How do you manage new bins that get copied into the project panel? It's so annoying to have to re-organize the panel every time I copy a new sequence into a project.
too much talking and dont go straight to the point
thanks man
Thanks for sharing!. great video!😍
Thanks for watching!
Thank you 😊
