Thank you so much for your effort to try to help us become normal in the society, Dr. Douglas! I am from the other side of the world and really hope that I can look pretty again😂 without surgery since it is very expensive here. Praying for an early international publish of Teprotumumab. (This is an English word I'll not forget!)
I really hope this comes out sometime nxt year. A lot of people are starting to get thyroid issues, and unfortunately a lot of those patients have issues with their eyes. I been dealing with this disease for over 6 years :( plssss make this a thing soon. I think im about to just give up. Glad I found this vid.
I am awaiting approval with Horizon currently. I went to UCSD for my eyes as I have been struggling. Had graves in 09 then ablation now hashis but my double vision is constant and terrible. Hard when you are on your own. Eyes hurt and headaches. What are the common side effects with Tepezza?
Diagnosis Hyperthyroidism, ,then Graves disease 2019 after being on Leeyvothroxine for 2 yrs. my labs are stabilized. However 6 mos ago I still had an onset of sudden TED. So I had my 1st Tepezza Infusion last week, and no adverse reactions, and I'm usually allergic to many meds, foods, and fragrances. 🙏👀🙏
Aakash Barathi so does this mean it’s now available for patients?!! I was diagnosed with it a few days ago and I have had Hashimotos for 3 years. I’m terrified about my vision getting worse. I’ve had symptoms for about 3 months now. This would be a godsend. I just hope the side effects aren’t too harsh.
Teprotumumab reverses or possibly cures eye issues related to TED. But what about the thyroid part? Does it stop my thyroid issues or will I have to be treated for that too?? I have not been able to find this answer anywhere.
Thyroid Eye Disease is a separate disease from either Graves' Disease or Hypothyroidism. You need to be treated for that separately by your endocrinologist.

That background music is so annoying and distracting. I seriously wanted to pay attention to what you had to say.
