- Join two-time SAG winner, Jackie Cruz, who portrays "Flaca," a series regular for the upcoming 4th season of "Orange Is the New Black" premiering June 17th. Cruz was named one of the "Top Latino Powerhouses under 40" by The Hollywood Reporter in 2013, joining such distinguished names as Eva Longoria, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato. Originally hailing from the Dominican Republic and a graduate of the Los Angeles Performing Arts School, Academy of Music at Hamilton High School, “Orange Is the New Black” is Cruz’s first series. uhh no , i thought that at first but AOL has the same sound system as MTV , they cut off certain parts of the area so we can hear what the people on stage are saying , every single word and sentence , they have an optimal sound system , that's all . But don't be fooled , the audience are definitely making noises .

orange is the new black has already begin to become iconic . Imagine , countless of stories and backstories of people and their choices that all led up to being in prison .

i think they meant that there isn't a lot of representation for latinx people in hollywood, not that she's ugly lol. most characters are played by white actors esp. lead roles!
