We should ban all western clothing, ideas and machinery. And revert back to our glorious ancient days. and become truly atmanirbhar !!!

Angus M’s calculations are purely based on estimates / projections and GDP based. And GDP calculation is based on population. Since India had a huge % of worlds population, the GDP share too is proportionate. And hence China’s numbers too are on higher side. If you are equating GDP with ‘India was richest country’, I wouldn’t. 3. In fact as per Angus historical per capita GDP for India is quite low as compared to others 4. ‘we are trading with all foreign countries’ > what does this even mean? Currently we are around 195 countries. Are you saying that India historically say. In last 1000 years, was trading with all these 195 countries?
