I went last year stayed at the resort on top of the mountain w the Seaview pool. it was... Beautiful! I swam in the pool while it raining too. Will go back again. I met two idi ot American guy tourists.. but thats another story.

You could buy an Island tour from the seller that is on the road, many sellers there, and many hotel there too.

They have people waiting at the airport with shuttles or taxis and you can negotiate the price for best rate when there

Yes but it’s a super long boat ride for a long tail
You can ask for directions from the local people where to buy a ticket for longtail boat to Railey Beach, A small orange store in front of the beach ==> see 2.35 / 22.52
How does one even go about setting up a trip to Thailand? How long is the flight. And what part would be the best to visit?? I don’t care for the nightlife and all that. Just want outdoor life beach mountain etc
I would say arrive in Bangkok spend 3 days to adjust to time zone etc. usually you get a layover in Korea or Japan total of around 14 hours one way flight time.

JEFF: Am I correct the calm water there, is the opposite of most of the beaches and water in Hawaii ⁉ In other words you will NOT find that kind of beach experience in Hawaii ⁉
I have seen calm flat water like that in Kailua Kona at the bay. Just rare

Interesting, he talk about isolated private beach in Thailand but he follow the main Route with all the tourists and I see only tourists in that video. It’s not about Thailand. It’s like I visit Disney world and talk about visiting the USA.

@@iansimpson1886 it’s full of tourists here. 25000 came to full moon party Koh Phangan this month and already 10 million tourists came this year even no Chinese come.
Beaches are way too crowded there. Lousy overpriced boats to beaches. Monkey beach crew tried to rip everyone off for a phony “tourist tax” per passenger. No receipts. We didn’t pay and got cussed out but saved 30 USD so it was worth it. Lot of hustlers ripping tourists in Ao Nang too. Great spas there though if y’all are into that.
It’s crazy seeing how many marijuana stores there are there now ! And the fact tourists can smoke there

You were very rude when you asked the discount . When you visit other country and you don't know locals at least be nice .
We were all getting along and having fun. It was late in the day, they were looking for work, we were tired. I said if you give us a special price since its late in the day then we will do it. He said okay lets flip a coin. If you watch the scene again everyone was laughing and having fun. We ended up tipping the guy and paying much more than the agreement because he was a great guide. So now you know the truth about the tour.

I was in The Kingdom Aug-early Oct. We had great weather and it was not inundated with tourists. I covered most of it. BKK to Chiang Mai and Rai and into Laos. Took a 14 hour (too long!) train ride from Chiang Mai to BKK. Flew Air Asia after that. Cheap flights!
Spent the majority of my time in Patong which I really liked. Prettiest women in Thailand there. Of course, most were from Isan. 55555 Didn't care for Phi Phi too much, but the rest of Krabi was awesome. Fished a couple days on a longtail with Capt. Fuk'n A. That was an adventure. Surprised you made no mention of all the awesome massage shops or the many cannabis shops that have popped up.
I think I liked Chiang Mai overall the most. Will definitely be returning.
