Facts man i pay my drivers avrg 1.40 pm and help them buy relestate and grow other incomes because i want all my people eating well i did college too im 25 7 trucks already and want to have 10-15 trucks in next 10 years and imma step out of the truck but it makes bank if done well

I hauled produce from ERWIN TENNESSEE to sweedsbroow NEW JERSEY. then hauled cattle for 4yrs. from VA. to OKLAHOMA.! if I'd would have listened to like MR.LYNCH I've never met him if I'd had friend like he's tryin help this young man.. you couldn't go wrong!!!!!
My dad and i just opened up our own Transport business and let me tell yall, man it was and still is hectic. I didnt know anything about trucking except the basics of how a truck works but i never knew the rate negotiating part of it. The dispatch part, the "buy permits, become an LLC. DO NOT OPPERATE UNDER SOLE PROPRIETARY. Establish your business, get your drivers drug tested before they drive. Enroll with a consortium, create a company policy, have pre employment for your driver's. Get insurance" man ive learned a lot. I went from fixing acs for 3 years straight to helping my dad run the business. I run the business and he just chills at home. And im only 24 years and I go to college studying Diesel Tech so Diesel tech classes do come in handy. I know how diesel engines work now. I know what truck to buy, not just because of the brand but because of the engine it carries. I know what engines are worth investing money in and I know how to take an engine apart and reassemble it. 2020 might of been a bad year for most but for me it has been a life changer. Oh and im still learning about how to run a company. At the moment im looking into creating Owner Op contracts, working on a company policy, i have to get certified for Reasonable Suspicion, and i think that's about it. But its a long process.
Guys been sayin that for years, never seen it make a truck run better . Replace what needs replacing , keep fresh oil and grease in it, and dont beat it to death .
Why do folks always say that like they hating cause they driving a steel wheel company truck. Tell u another thing if DOT looks at a clean polished truck he's think if he keeps his truck like that then he prolly straight on his paperwork also, then they go hit the guy wit they mcdonald's bag on the dash.

GUYS most mega companies are paying lease ops 1.3-1.5 cpm fuel is .30cpm to operate a truck is roughly .60cpm; so rough aggregate .90cpm COST. if you only profit .5-.6cpm YOU ARE A HIGH PAID COMPANY DRIVER... don't look at that ad: YOU CAN EARN 200K/ YEAR!!! that is gross not net...you get my drift!!!
In order of steps do you think it’s better to find the truck first and than get your own authority. Or get your own authority and than get the truck? Also if your just starting and you purchase a truck from a independent person but you have no authority what is some advice on bringing the truck back since you don’t have authority, how do you know if the road tax has been paid up to date? These are the major questions that stop me from purchasing. An order of operation would be some good advice.
@@CruzTube im a true OUTLAW TRUCKER thats what i come from so I bend the rules I aint gonna even lie to you!!! we need more of this breed anyway lmao!!! this truck i bought in n Dakota and drove back with nothing just plates from my kw and the title lol but the right way would be to get a 45 permit, the title and bos, bobtail insurance. but def. get the truck 1st if you don't have the cheese now to have your own dot you're going to have to lease to a company. and they will help your from there with deductions from your settlement. if you do have the money for your own dot : 6k to start paperwork and another 6-10k for breakdowns and already have the truck thats when registration begins with the feds and the state ein # and all that stuff A LOT OF PAPERWORK IS INVOLVED

@@CruzTube I new guy that has 15 trucks in Knoxville Tennessee I used his DOT number and MC number and had to have insurance papers to show I was going to run under his authority and did trip or 2 cause like the man said gotta have money to start and don't get discouraged especially after you start getting fuel bill every week on a polit card and got fleet one and actually it was alot better except NY wouldn't take it!! but this man knows exactly what he's talking about and he's humble as hell!!! all the respect my friend
This was a really great interview. What impressed me the most was the realness in the information shared. He was not hyping the trucking industry, he spoke on having real knowledge about the mechanics of trucks, being creative, having good credit and having a support system. Just the type of stuff a newbie needs.
He mentioned Seymour indiana, my home town. We got a T/A here off 65. Pomp's tire and a Best Way repair shop. The T/A caught fire and burned a couple months back. They're rebuilding it now.
Bro your advice is 100 percent right!!!! I'm owner operator learned the hard way first truck payment was way to high plus my authority was 1000 for my MC and DOT numbers my tags was 1500 plus ifta sticker now got 05 peterbilt 359 3406 cat it had little over 300 thousand miles when I got it still under warranty now it's got over right at 900 thousand miles no internal work on the motor just basic but your right on it when you say gotta look at tags insurance fuel and gettin it serviced not to mention if a steer tire blows out then road side service charges are and leg. and that's just sum of the cheap work. when you get in the motor thousands of dollars you can spend just get it back way it was. your a true trucker!!!! lots of respect my friend
I was teaching until I got injured I drove for 27 years with ole school 79 classic ex hood 3408 cat 18 speed Allison with 356 gear 22 5 tires 112 in homemade walk in I miss it bad seeing these cats out here still truck in on God bless all our trucker of America trucking this way will soon be a thing of pass with these self driving trucks coming and there coming 😁
Yeah but it will be years before that technology will run the industry. My great grandkids will be here and still that technology will not have the whole market. I get it the money is not the same but you still can do well.

I originally watch this video when it first came out before I bought my first truck. I’m not re-watching it again for the third time and I’ve owned my truck since October.Everything he said was 1000% true and correct. We need more people like this to give the game to people who are just getting started but I am very grateful that this interview was done. When I first watched I didn’t know any of the specific things he talked about the cat motor I didn’t know anything about the gear ratio I didn’t know anything about transmissions I don’t know anything. But now I know literally everything he was talking about and I also on the 3406E myself.
I'm OTR, with 450,000miles from 2017. I drive expeditor- sprinter van for Panter, XPO, Try Hours. The $$$$ is out there. I made some$. Covid is different! You have to know how to negotiate your rates, this is the key to make$$$. I met a guy at TA truck stop. He shared with me that the government hired Him off the road. He was a expeditor before He got a 🚛. He makes $12 a mile & is guarantee 3,000 miles a week! The $ is with the Gov. As a van sprinter van driver I used to make $1800 to 2200 a week. Now I got to many speeding tickets. I don't drive now!

My partner and I are going to take the leap of faith and officially start our trucking company. He already purchased a sleeper for $30K and is working on finishing his CDL. He has an agent and all we are waiting for it to find a driver with a clean record and 2-years of experience. He kind of jumped the gun by being too excited and bought the truck before doing a lot of research so I'm taking my time and learning the game and I think in about 30 days of watching videos, learning how to broker freight, and talking to live truckers and really building a roadmap to success I will be ready to purchase my truck. I'm going to pay cash for the sleeper, I have about $30K saved up and have seen some good prices here in ATL. Hearing that somebody owns 50 trucks is really inspiring because that's really an empire aka king shit and hearing somebody have enough cash on hand to spend $50K on a show truck when they could go to the auction and buy a Bentley or Lambo to stunt with that shows not only passion for your hustle but it shows how much money that you can make. So I know running a successful trucking business as an owner or owner-operator isn't easy but face it if you have your game laid down right you can make more money than the average corporate executive. I know because I have an MBA and executive experience in the corporate world. This is more feasible, there's something more manly about being your own boss anyway. :)
He got him a beautiful truck, my late uncle had a Petersbuilt truck hwr drive all his life. I believe its passed down to his son before he was murded. Peterbuilts are great trucks I want a Kenworth too I heard they are great trucks as well. Love this vid

I really didn't get a chance to go IN DEPTH i could talk ALL DAY AND NIGHT LOL I believe in honesty man a lot of guys on the tube inflate stuff YEs!!! MILLION DOLLAR TRUCKING EMPIRE STUFF... lol. what happens when a piston comes out the block on 1 truck? a driver leaves your other truck at the petro and you have to go retrieve. what happens if you have two accidents in 1 day??? these are all variables that HAPPEN!!! know your cost per mile and know your worth unfortunately ur in the commie state cali fuck them!!!
So i learned some valuable key things today. Don't lease with Swift or JB hunt because they'll try to pry you into staying and never paying off the truck. That's stuff people need to know especially starting out lol

My dad was owner operator of 5 trucks, had 4 drivers and drove one himself. Since I could walk I was around trucks. I'm a police officer myself, much respect to owner operators. 🙋
A tip for all my Truckers if you have a American Airline Credit Card use that for gas and pay off at the end of the week so you pay no interest yet get free flight points anytime you want to fly or vacation almost always have way more than enought for any flight you want to go
@@Laysmoon been doing it for years and I've always had alot of flight points just have to find whatever you pay alot for in your business and make sure to always pay off before end of month of interest will kill you.

I'm owner operator learned the hard way first truck payment was way to high plus my authority was 1000 for my MC and DOT numbers my tags was 1500 plus ifta sticker now got 05 peterbilt 359 3406 cat it had little over 300 thousand miles when I got it still under warranty now it's got over right at 900 thousand miles no internal work on the motor just basic but your right on it when you say gotta look at tags insurance fuel and gettin it serviced not to mention if a steer tire blows out then road side service charges are and leg. and that's just sum of the cheap work. when you get in the motor thousands of dollars you can spend just get it back way it was. your a true trucker!!!! lots of respect my friend

I was teaching until I got injured I drove for 27 years with ole school 79 classic ex hood 3408 cat 18 speed Allison with 356 gear 22 5 tires 112 in homemade walk in I miss it bad seeing these cats out here still truck in on God bless all our trucker of America trucking this way will soon be a thing of pass with these self driving trucks coming and there coming 😁
Yeah but it will be years before that technology will run the industry. My great grandkids will be here and still that technology will not have the whole market. I get it the money is not the same but you still can do well.

I originally watch this video when it first came out before I bought my first truck. I’m not re-watching it again for the third time and I’ve owned my truck since October.Everything he said was 1000% true and correct. We need more people like this to give the game to people who are just getting started but I am very grateful that this interview was done. When I first watched I didn’t know any of the specific things he talked about the cat motor I didn’t know anything about the gear ratio I didn’t know anything about transmissions I don’t know anything. But now I know literally everything he was talking about and I also on the 3406E myself.

I'm OTR, with 450,000miles from 2017. I drive expeditor- sprinter van for Panter, XPO, Try Hours. The $$$$ is out there. I made some$. Covid is different! You have to know how to negotiate your rates, this is the key to make$$$. I met a guy at TA truck stop. He shared with me that the government hired Him off the road. He was a expeditor before He got a 🚛. He makes $12 a mile & is guarantee 3,000 miles a week! The $ is with the Gov. As a van sprinter van driver I used to make $1800 to 2200 a week. Now I got to many speeding tickets. I don't drive now!

My partner and I are going to take the leap of faith and officially start our trucking company. He already purchased a sleeper for $30K and is working on finishing his CDL. He has an agent and all we are waiting for it to find a driver with a clean record and 2-years of experience. He kind of jumped the gun by being too excited and bought the truck before doing a lot of research so I'm taking my time and learning the game and I think in about 30 days of watching videos, learning how to broker freight, and talking to live truckers and really building a roadmap to success I will be ready to purchase my truck. I'm going to pay cash for the sleeper, I have about $30K saved up and have seen some good prices here in ATL. Hearing that somebody owns 50 trucks is really inspiring because that's really an empire aka king shit and hearing somebody have enough cash on hand to spend $50K on a show truck when they could go to the auction and buy a Bentley or Lambo to stunt with that shows not only passion for your hustle but it shows how much money that you can make. So I know running a successful trucking business as an owner or owner-operator isn't easy but face it if you have your game laid down right you can make more money than the average corporate executive. I know because I have an MBA and executive experience in the corporate world. This is more feasible, there's something more manly about being your own boss anyway. :)
He got him a beautiful truck, my late uncle had a Petersbuilt truck hwr drive all his life. I believe its passed down to his son before he was murded. Peterbuilts are great trucks I want a Kenworth too I heard they are great trucks as well. Love this vid

A tip for all my Truckers if you have a American Airline Credit Card use that for gas and pay off at the end of the week so you pay no interest yet get free flight points anytime you want to fly or vacation almost always have way more than enought for any flight you want to go

I already knew how to drive been driving since I was a kid, so I got my license in 2 weeks ALSO BECAUSE I HAD MY PERMIT ALREADY SO THE WRITTEN PORTION WAS DONE!!!.
called many companies because my license was fucked from street racing AND FINALLY SWIFT GAVE ME THE CHANCE!!!
