Another interesting use of Soul Siphon (which I've only managed to get once) was with the Electric Overload Mirage variation. I sacrificed a Nunu and played a Daeja for 4 Mirage with 6 Darkflight. The item I sacrificed was Ionic Spark. I also hit Electrocharge III as my second augment. It was the fastest I've ever run over other teams' boards.
It is really nice to see boxbox have better mental on TFT imo back then some of his streams were not fun because he was just in a tilt spree but now he is more calm and happy
I think this interaction is interesting but doesn’t need to be patched. It’s not like the astral bug which you can just stupidly force, for this to happen, all the right things should happen first. I’d want to try this but I doubt I’ll ever have a chance lol.
I don't thinknit needs to get patched. I think it's something you can't force. It's not like the augments didn't matter. It's as strong as dragon build also.
I thought that it was always the "first listed trait" regardless of whether it was active or not. So in the case of Soraka, the first listed trait is Jade. If Jade isn't active, then Soul Siphon does nothing. I haven't tested this, but this is how I assume it works. (Also in this case it does nothing even with Jade active since Jade doesn't do anything.)
Had soul siphon and cavalier unity last night. Used the mirage (Dawnbringer) Was a wild game where my units were nearly unkillable but someone was contesting dark flight and it griefed me. Definitely the wackiest game I’ve ever had tho, Rengar had 200 armor/mr with no defensive items and nearly carried. Wish I knew about the graves interaction tho, might’ve saved my game.

No dragon on my side, tons of enemy 1900hp+ units, my Rengar and Aphelios never did a single point of magic damage all game. Clearly bugged. Second time I sacrificed a Mirage unit. Executioner game, threw in a Daeja which really didn't make sense as a comp, but even with 6 mirage my Darkflights still didn't get the guaranteed crits, even on sub-50% hp enemies. I don't remember which unit specifically I sacrificed in either game, but I made 110% sure they had Scalescorn/Mirage as their *first* listed trait.
@@happynightmares4688 to be clear, I had 2-3 darkflight + 4 scalescorn in the first game. Second game I played Swain+ random Daeja I found early. By the time I reached 5 darkflight+ 6 Mirage I was basically dead since I'd invested in the augment.
pretty sure they still do, but i didnt really check that on my game (15 minutes ago) Although my Graves only hit 300-600 ad each round (Gunblade, IE & Darkflight Emblem) so he definitly didnt have as much attack speed as boxbox' graves.
mortdog specify that only the origin of the unit (for example 'whisper,jade,ragewing,astral') will be taken into account. Every other trait other than their origin is ignored.
@@jianyuloh20 Well, having another nomsy does nothing so I'd guess that there would only be 1 trainer summoned, since it summons it before the fight starts.
The way it works is sacrifice hands off the first trait it can, if a dark flight unit has a jade spat, it cannot receive that trait from the sacrifice, so it gets the next available if possible. In this case it's starcaller

i hope streamers like you wouldn't ruin the fun for the rest of us if these interactions wouldn't exist it would a terrible game. they're fun and i hope these interactions stay mortdog is a champ for keeping them in.

The Unit you sacrifice, still procs the zekes, so not placing units next to it loses uou 30% attack speed on 2 units

No it got « patched » there was another bug but it was either that bug or the whisper bug, they decided to fix this one
The bug was with cb not working with cannoneers, now it doesn’t work anymore because they fixed this bug
