Great tutorial Ester. This is the best Tutu method I've seen so far on TH-cam (without going full ballet). The tule you selected is just adorable. Thanks for not over complicating the video as well.
I agree, this is the best tutorial for a simple tutu. The instructions are easy to follow and uncomplicated, coupled with your excellent presentation skills. Thank you!
Thank you so much!!!! This was a fantastic tutorial. Super easy and looks FANTASTIC! My daughter gave me 4 days notice before Halloween that she needed a pink tutu for her costume and i refused to pay $30 at the Costume store. I think i spent $10 on the tulle and about 20 min to make.
Thanksss me and my friends r being hunters and deer for our costume party on Thursday. (Ik, weird costume plan? 😅) Anyways, I’m being a deer. I want to have a brown tutu but I can’t find any at the stores. I’m gonna ask my mom to make me this. Thanks a bunch
You can use the same technique but add a second layer of fabric that isn't see-through, however you will have to finish the raw edges of any other fabric so that it doesn't fray!

Haha, very original idea! Hope it turns out :)
I loved your tutorial and the fabric you used! Can you share where did you get this tulle?
Thank you! I bought it from Spotlight, which is a fabric/homewares store in Australia :)
how do you remove the static from tulle?
I'm sorry I don't have experience with this! A quick google found static guard seems to help?!
How can i add a linning layer so that it isn't see through?
