I’m there with you. I got my first electric typewriter for high school graduation. Until then, I’d been using my Grandad’s old Royal machine that looks similar to the one he captured. I still have it! It’s probably from WW2 time as my Grandad bought most of his office furniture from military surplus.
BTW, I’m a digital graphic designer who uses top of the line computer equipment now.

My wife and I purchased her parents house and we invited everyone to come over and take the crap load of tools but nobody did so my wife and I went through our oversized garage floor to ceiling tools and what not. Well we found very collectable things including an old typewriter in a box and a portable sewing machine on a wooden table and a wooden hood that covered it. Tools pioneers used to run barb wires for fence. Plus so much more!!!!

I'm amazed with the things you find in the water! I can understand how bikes and scooters end up in the river. I had a 1985 Olds Firenza new, with sparkly blue paint. It was a beautiful car, but it had major problems & I eventually had to trade it for a 1987 Nissan Stanza, which was a great car. Never had any problems with it either. The Firenza had wire wheel covers, like the one you pulled out of the river & it was a pain to clean. I told myself that I would never get another car with wire wheel covers & so far I have not.

That 10 speed could be worth quite a bit with a little cleaning too. Most of the crud looked to be on the levers and sprockets, but the frame and rest looked solid.

That is not just a typewriter… that’s an OLD typewriter… still had one in use in my house until 2005. That one you found has round buttons, so could be from WWI to the 1960s I would guess, maybe 1920 to 1935 from looking at the inner assembly being a semi-circle, but I am no expert. I just have not seen a newer one than the 30s to have the letter and number arms in that semi-circle is all, but have seen them a lot in Prohibition Era films or movies depicting the time, so… I’ll wager 80-100 years old, that model. Unless it’s a vintage remake. Again, I’m no expert… I’d take it to a local museum to make sure, and clean it up. It’s an antique, period.

Manual portable typewriter, likely underwood or royal. That style originally made late 40s and still made into the 80$.

Your last catch that looks like a "U" with the end that looks like a short handle, that's an oar lock for a rowboat.

The mangle roller you found is from year 1843,here a article I found Drying clothes
A hand-cranked mangle appeared on top after 1843 when John E. Turnbull of Saint John, New Brunswick patented a "Clothes Washer With Wringer Rolls". The first geared wringer mangle in the UK is thought to date to about 1850, when one was invented by Robert Tasker of Lancashire.
It’s definitely a piece of history,I love the videos

that last piece of U-Shaped with downside piece of metal was a Rowing Oar holder for a small boat. You put the single spoke into the gunnel wall. then you take your boat oars. Pop them into the U-shaped. Because the oar lock isn't fixed to the boat, as in bolted down. It spins freely in the pin hole and your the rower can reach back and forth to pull your boat along.

have you though about getting a second caribeener to attach to poles, pipes and trees for when you go magnet fishing, it'll give you maybe a couple extra feet for the magnet to travel.

The bike still had both brake leavers and the chain so there must be another down there. You may find it a piece at a time. You won't find dry blood at the bottom of river. I still use a typewriter it's easier than a computer and you don't loose everything if the power goes out.
