I will always thank God for RC, I found his radio show by accident while a new christian and searching for answers. I was hooked immediately. I ended up contacting Ligonier and used them to help find the PCA church I now serve as a deacon in.
“At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life” (Titus 3:3-7)
For all who have received the grace of God, give thanks to God every day, and remember, for all eternity, you will still be giving thanks to God for his grace because you will know you are only in the Kingdom of God because of the life, death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.
When his wounded hand touched mine,🎶🎶 When his wounded hand touched mine; My Jesus sets me free through all eternity, When his wounded hand touched mine.
love this! Not only did Jesus go way out of his way, lived in entire life of 30 some odd years on this planet, but then spent his last hours hanging on across, and dying until he was dead! And then, after he did whatever he had to do to overcome death, he came back to life again DeWalt amongst those people for a short time and then ascended into heaven where he is preparing a place for us, and therefore he is giving us this free gift. We do not have to pay rent in heaven. He has not only pay paid the rent, but he left the Holy Spirit behind to give us the power to believe all of this! All we have to do is say yes please, and check the box. He does the rest.
"Faith is therefore to be considered as the gift of God, not on account of its being offered by God to man, to be accepted or rejected at his pleasure; but because it is in reality conferred, breathed, and INFUSED into him." [Synod of Dort, 3rd and 4th Heads of Doctrine, Article 14] *Soli Deo Gloria*.
He has only half of the truth in his understanding. Yes it is by Grace, but anyone who studies in college for a test does not receive a degree for simply showing up , we need to follow in our hearts , minds , and souls.
...and the entire reason anybody has any desire to follow in heart, mind or soul is also a product of grace. God investigated the entire human race a long time ago and said "There is none righteous, no not one", so this desire to please God can't come from anything in us.
@@lancezenner6177 we work out of a response to God’s love, not the other way around. We do not work to attain salvation, but because we already have it!
@@didlybobidly9721 We are given and blessed with the opportunity to receive his Love. Yet some freely choose to ignore it. We are not talking about the same perspective on what Grace is. Grace is the blessings that we have received from an all Merciful and All Loving God . We are at the other end of his Grace and have the opportunity to accept it or reject it depending on our words, deeds, and actions. So to assume that just because your parents paid for your education at a University does not mean that you do nothing to honor the Gift. If you choose to skip class and make unwise choices knowingly to deceive ones self that they are going to receive a diploma, they would be sadly mistaken. I do not believe we are talking about the same aspects of what it is to receive these gifts , some people choose wisely and honor our Lord with what they have been given and others squander their opportunities. What I am simply saying is that , Yes, you state the obvious , Our Lord and Savior has set the tone of reconciliation to many who are willing to receive his Grace. And yes, you are correct that it is not by anything we have done or deserve. But here in the details of a much clearer understanding of what I am trying to say. We have been created for the purpose of Glorifying our God and sharing his Love and Grace with all who we come into contact with. God knows our Hearts. Yet, why the stories of the vineyard and the constant mentioning of the consequences for our free choices. Is their a measure of our salvation once we accept his Grace? We do nothing at all? We are expected to embrace his Love and Understanding by how we act and conduct ourselves , otherwise the Tree that bears not fruit shall be thrown away in the heap. Remember , our God is all Merciful and Just. So we should have great comfort in Knowing that we will receive what is just. It is his wish that we all will accept his Gifts and follow him. I am not delusional about the opportunity we all have , but if you give someone a gift, they usually either accept it and use it or sometimes throw it away and or use it for selfish purposes. faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. I am not addressing the actual gift, I am addressing the part where we need to respond to what has been given. Otherwise lest we take things for granted . You cannot force someone to return Love .
Acts 16:14 reads….”Now a certain woman named Lydia heard us. She was a seller of purple from the city of Thyatira, who worshiped God. The Lord OPENED HER HEART to heed the things spoken by Paul.”
All God had to do then was to regenerate everyone and no one would go to Hell. No Hell needed !! But his God created the majority of humanity for Hell. What a morally repulsive religion.
@didlybobidly9721 salvation is conditional. Grace is from God and faith is the man's response. Understand the phrase...by grace you have been saved through faith....
@ we were given faith by God. So then it is all by His grace. Yes we need faith but we cannot conjure it up ourselves, for we were dead and incapable of such things.
@@anthonycalipjo8669 Salvation is conditional on faith, but the natural man is unable to meet this condition. First, he must be made alive in Christ by the Spirit, according to the eternal election of the Father. Thus, salvation is conditional, but election is unconditional

Correct, faith is the result of being saved, like breathing is the result of being resuscitated.

Hahaha 😂😅 what a twisted interpretation
He didn’t interpret it. He just read it.
Explain with scripture what he got wrong.
