Immigration exploded on his watch. I'm not anti-immigration, but we need to vet who comes in and for now limit immigration to those who can fill positions we need filled, chiefly skilled labour -- doctors, nurses, construction, etc. We don't need more fast food workers. Less food can do nothing but help the health care burden. Making like liveable again for our young people with regard to food, housing, and subsequent quality of life would go far toward convincing young people to bring children into this world. End of day we are cogs in the wheels of capitalism... we work, we contribute to social programs (health care, old age security, etc) through taxation... future workers support past and present workers... and this continues into perpetuity. This is, of course, an oversimplification of a very complicated, nuanced system with many, many interconnected moving parts.

It’s because of immigration.. huge money poured in to canada housing market and this is why your houses sold for huge profits to the point of a bubble. Trudeau did not gave immigration to Poor people.. he gave mostly to the wealthy Chinese, Indians, Middle Easterners. They brought in money.

Trump is right in that Trudeau's warped views on immigration and resulting policies threaten both countries. But to threaten Tarrifs in an effort to solve this Trudeau caused problem is a horrifying approach. It's like burning your house down to get your kids to move out. We have shared problems: rugs, fentinyl, illegal immigration, human trafficking. A better approach would have been colaborative, both sides figuring out how best to manage these
problems. But neither man is "collaborative" Trudeau is the world's biggest fool if he doesn't realize his Sunny Ways Daze is over and he should be stepping down. With the ManToddler as US President, it is almost a crisis if he doesn't. It's clear Trump is both increasingly unhinged but serious about doing what he wants, when he wants, how he wants. We need a leader who Trump doesn't already despite to make this even worse. Poor Pollieve. This won't be easy. But... he has a far better chance of getting us through this chaotic Humpty Dumpty reign of terror than does Trudeau. Sad but true. Silver lining? We will get our shit together on immigration and beefing up security on what, who, is coming into Canada through our laughable Swiss Cheese boarders.

The benefits would be lower home prices due to a recession because of tariffs and higher longer term interest rates. Residential rents will fall because of this. Contagion will likely hit Canadian real estate due to the collapsing Yuan and proposed 60 percent tariffs on Chinese imports into America.

Not only our massive oil reserves and natural gas, but forestry, potash, uranium, freshwater, and rare earth minerals. And the fact that we are right next-door with an invisible border. Would tell you this is hugely great for CANADA and always has been they are our largest trading partner and the most powerful country in the world. The only thing that has ever screwed this relationship up is politicians. Mark my words if any country tried to take CANADA United States, regardless of what they say they would jump in and stop that from happening.
