This episode should be taught in theater classes of what “selfish” acting looks like. Ad libbing, active scene stealing, upstaging, it’s all textbook examples of what you’re taught not to do in Theater 101. Great stuff here.
The entire Goes Wrong Show should be taught in theater and acting classes. The cast have to use such a wide range of acting skills to pull off such comedy
This, and Robert’s acting “masterclass” in the series finale (read: 10 minutes of him demonstrating how to upstage everyone else and trying to humiliate Chris yet again).
@@MegaKnight2012 It is before watershed and honestly it is better subtle than not for a show like that. That phrase also connotates rather gross things which are a bit too much.
I was just thinking about how Robert Grove might be one of the most fun people to play D&D with in the whole world. In fact, I would pay cash money, and a not insignificant amount, to watch these guys play a highly theatrical D&D campaign. It would so shit on Critical Role.
If you watched the previous episode (where Robert took over as Director), he gave Chris "new lines" that made it so his character ate manure. This is just a subtle revenge
@@MegaKnight2012 My absolute favourite moment this episode is Max getting Chris to say his lines in progressively more ridiculous ways and them both breaking down (Max desperately trying to not laugh out loud while Chris is staring bloody murder at him). But this is a very close second.

Well I am glad that Chris has takes control as the director of the play because of the disaster from Downton-esque family saga the casts are fed up with Robert's arrogant behaviour that they're glad to bring Chris back. Well at least Chris is not as bad as Robert as despite of many mistakes in Shakespeare play at least he didn't made the rest of the cast do the same scene over and over again like Robert did. Although Robert isn't too happy about no speaking lines for the character he's playing but continued to ignore Chris's directing in the whole play.
You know what would be funny? If they made a third season. They should have the first episode with Sandra as the director after staging another coup. But this time, everything goes right and Chris's attempt to sabotage it either makes the play better or backfires spectacularly on him.
He’s not desperate, just masking the sub-actors
