In other news, Boeings new CEO’s salary was doubled last year from $18 million, to $36 million dollars a year, while limiting raises for Boeing employees wages to just 1% a year for the next five years “due to ongoing challenges related to persistent QC issues that has dramatically reduced revenues and charge offs impacting profitability for the foreseeable future”.
This was the man that replaced Boeings previous disgraced CEO responsible for two crashes that took over 200 lives that, instead of serving a life sentence for his crimes, was given a $38 million golden parachute instead, and today holds a multi million dollar salary with an leading aerospace company that generates most of its revenue from US govt contracts.
If this doesn’t make your blood boil, you don’t have any.

I, for one, I am very surprised.
I had thought that moving engineering design from experienced engineers to outsourced $15 an hour randos would increase quality if anything.

A350-900 or 1000 is the plane to go.
Boeing has had way too many problems between the 737 MAX, the 787s, the 767 Pegasus program and even the Starliner Boeing with two astronauts blocked in the ISS, I mean seriously strong changes must be made within the company…🙄
They need a brand new single Aisle airplane that could compete with the Airbus 320 NEOs serie and the 350, but that’s a set back of a decade maybe more…😱🙄
Emirates will not be patient enough to maintain the order for the 777X…

Sorry A350-1000 has XWB97 issues so Emirates wont order them anytime soon until the engine is fixed.
Boeing doesn't have issues with 737MAX and 787s anymore. The star liner will return .There are strong changes within the company. Picking up on this issue and telling the public is one change. They already have the MAX 10 as an alternative 320 competition. The a350 and 777x are competitors. Emirates will be holding onto their order as it is the aircraft they need.

@@nickolliver3021 If you had noticed when I mentioned the 737 Max and the 787 I used past tense (had) but this has ad a big impact, Boeing CEO’s audition in the Senate not that long ago says a lot about it. The 767 Pegasus project is having issues still and now the 777X with the engine pylone might delay a lot more than the « issue » of the RR engine that is claimed by Emirates CEO. About Starliner Boeing yes they will come back at some point but it will be most likely with a Space X module in 8 months according to the last news…
Time will tell but Boeing is in troubled waters that’s for sure ! 🤷🏼‍♂️

@@skytrotter6144 Okay but still. Now you are talking of the senate hearing and Boeings ceo audition saying about it. Again we don't know how long of a delay of the 777x pylon issue. The 767 having more issues. Which is that one then? Airbus is in troubled waters too lately but starliner will come back. Its not like an emergency though.

My heart… I can’t take any more Boeing disappointment, especially with the 777.

This is what happens when you stop building airplanes, and start acting as a bank.
