Did this class years ago with Pete Krotje and Nick instructing - very valuable and you leave truly understanding your engine! After 760+ hrs on my Jab 3300 (built during transition from Gen 2 to Gen 3), I can vouch for every point that Nick makes in this video. Pay meticulous attention to cooling and you'll have a reliable engine.
I learn something every time I talk to Nick. He’s super humble, but he’s been around aviation his whole life and has a wealth of accumulated knowledge. You can disagree, but you had better listen.
I would recommend Nicks shop to everyone. I flew my 2007 jabiru down from Ohio and the service was top notch!! And affordable.. My old jab just keeps going .. Thanks again to Nick and his crew.
Very insightful. Valuable information.
…..love those little Jab motors. I operated a 2200 in an Avid - it was an awesome little motor.
A lot of good points here. I wanted to keep going. Am hoping this course will be available at Greg Hobbs’ Marana facility again, before too long.
Someone here made a similar baflings like Lycoming or Volkswagen where the air is pushed from top to down and that engine cooked.
Is it better to push the fresh air from the bottom (exhaust port) 🤔
i need to know how my 2200J abiru on a titan tornado will stay cool in it's pusher config ? All exposed at this time and is a very low hr. 2006 Texas "barn find" any suggestions? Thank You all in advance, Blue Skys... ☺
Sir one ing .. time what is work
