Puzzle Bobble 4 arcade 1cc

A 1-credit clear of the arcade game Puzzle Bobble 4, played with WolfMAME 0.264. Score: 1,907,790. Warming up for the Summer Yolympics - sort of. I chose the character Bramb (an eccentric sorcerer from the planet Marzuk) because his attacks in versus mode - which include un-poppable wooden tiles - are especially effective. The chaining in this game can lead to big swings, so while skill definitely matters, there's also a lot of RNG in play. In practice I got pretty confident on most of the levels but stages 8, 11, and 12 are a coin-flip, so it took a dozen or more runs to get a clear.
