It’s a 10ft import from China. I wanted an Australian but I could never get ahold of anyone. Working on version 2 of the front wheel. It’s not as stable as my 16ft deep V (where you can’t get it to move even if you stand on the gunnel). But after about 15 minutes you get used to it. Look for more videos when I visit Mike in the winter.
The main goal of the boat was to fish some reservoirs on Pikes Peak (no trailers allowed). And the winch powered front wheel was to get it up a hill that goes down to the reservoir.

Just takes getting used to. You can have portability or stability, but it’s hard to have both.

I would as well, and I can't swim. However, I do know how to put on my lifejacket, every time I go, before I get in my boat. I even have it on when I launch my boat.

Hi! Some day I'd love to build or buy one of those, a 10ft boat and I'd like to know how much they weigh empty (aluminum vs fiberglass), I'd use it as row boat and just dump the gear in when I'm at the water. Maybe 70 - 90lb range without motor and fuel tank, just as bare bones as it gets so I can just put it on car roof?

That boat looks more like an 8 foot. Are you sure it’s 10 foot? I had a fiberglass dinghy that was an 8 foot and sold it. I didn’t like the V Hull for such a small dinghy boat as it rocked and tipped too much making for a “too much drama boat ride!” Now I have a 10 foot Jon boat and love it. I recommend not to buy V Hulls for such small boats. Just me. Thanks for video! 😊
