Nicolas Cage returns as Johnny Blaze in GHOST RIDER™ SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE. Still struggling with his curse as the devil’s bounty hunter, Johnny is hiding out in a remote part of Europe when he is recruited by a secret sect of the church to save a young boy from the devil. Nic Cage, they may drag you through the mud for this, but thank you for being Ghost Rider. The Spirit of Vengeance never would have made it to the big screen if not for you.
Problem is look at Willy's wonderland, Cage is an amazing actor, but they always play him as a goofy character which he is not that good at.
The movie probably would have been made with or without him. If Cage hadn't played him, someone else would have. But I do think he did do really well with the role he was given. I don't think this movie would have been half as entertaining if it were anyone else playing Ghost Rider.

@@Naththananan Many people hate the movie. I liked the movies. When I was younger I thought the second one was done more badly than the first. I think the same after looking at the clips of both movies. I can’t remember a lot from both movies, but I think anybody should think that the scenes that Ghost Rider was in in the first movie are very enjoyable and badass.

indeed, its a more apropriate version aswell, instead of everything shiny and chrome and clean, the charred look of everything related to it makes more sense. the best aspect imo is actually the behavior, a lot more derranged and leaning towards the supernatural and irrational. gives of that uneasy feel

This one was terrible
They didn't get anywhere near riders actual power, and besides the first movie was better and they put a whole lot more effort into it, but if they put his full power into a movie there would be no movie cuz he would have defeated the big bad in the first few minutes, he is quite possibly the most overpowered character in the marvel universe, and he never loses. Not like every other hero who has a loss and then comes back and wins, and in this scene if it were rider at full power blackout would never have stood a chance, it wouldn't have been a fight

Imagine how insane would it be if Ghost Rider (Nicholas Cage), Venom (Tom Hardy) and Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) met in a scene. Be it a fight scene or a comedy scene.

This movie may suck but I actually really liked ghost rider’s design in this.
I think it would have actually been decent if it were rated R. Speaking of that, it was originally going to be really gory and R rated, but then Sony was like "Hell No!!" and forced the movie to be PG-13 because they just want to make money!

And this also isn't johnny in control its zarathos as you can tell by the confused mannerisms and when he looks up to the sky and does the thing I think that's zarathos purifying himself from demonic back into something angelic and giving Johnny back the reigns.

I prefer the bike's design from the 1st movie, but the Ghostrider's black skull in this movie is also pretty metal. I also prefer the way they shot this movie the way they did, seems like a very comicbook style, as though you can take a frame out from anyway in the movie and it'll always look like it came from a panel of the comic
Well to be fair the first ones bike was designed by Orange County Choppers. The Tuttles are renowned for their custom bikes.
Just wished they hadn't done all those dramatic "dun-naaa" close ups like they did.
Overall the second movie's design is pretty good, but not a fan of the black skull.
Yeah i prrfer the chopper cause it was a great bike and it kinda had a certain feel to it,the hell cycle couldve been re designed a little but all in all it was good
I was surprised to see they used a Yamaha Vmax instead of a Harley. But honestly it is the most bad ass V-motor out there. V-4 with 200hp

I used to watch this when I was a kid. Although, I forgot about this long while ago, this movie is still one of my favourites. Ghost Rider is pretty sick and quite underrated. The fact that Nicholas Cage aced the role made it quite impressive.
I love the fist fight between GR and Blackout. No special training, no skills, just 2 super powered guys exchanging punches and kicks.

My theory on why ghost rider looked and acted different is because Johnny kept him in a cage down deep for so long. Like keeping a wild animal in a cage it gets hostile,agitated, and volatile. That's why he looked more ragged and unhinged.

Many people did not like this movie, I think this was much better than the first one and the director did a great job on the ghost riders character I think he really captured the essence of who they demon really is.. loved the blistering and peeling of the clothes..and using a Vmax as the motorcycle was brilliant, always hated the chopper look.
