Those times were much different than now, but I love both so much. I can't believe it's been 7 years and I still watch and enjoy him. Hardly ever youtuber stays good for so long. It's not that he's changed, he just grew up, just like me. I would have cringed to this back then if I had my current age. But still gives me a lot of nostalgia, sad nostalgia. I remember when he used to post 2 videos on a daily basis except sundays I think. It's been a while.

As much as nostalgia takes over me while listening to this, I can't help but feel happy, seeing as how much felix has grown, not just as a channel, but as a person, living his dream, doing what makes him happy, being so open about what other creators wouldn't dare speak about and it makes me so proud to see that shy red faced swedish boy become the king of youtube and our number one. Stop complaining about 'omg pewds changed, I miss the old pewdiepie' because this is it, we worked for this, be happy of what we've done and what he's accomplished.
Agreed, but also all of these "he changed, unfortunately" comments are from like 2015-2016 that really were the dark times of his channel, when he had white hair and did really weird shit. Even I stopped watching him for months, and I loved him both in 2012 and now. He's now came back better than ever, probably thanks to Minecraft, so we can truly say that he's still a great entertainer and hasn't gone downhill.
I think most people who say that just miss on the weirdness that was old-school pewds, the music, the games, the Swedish side of him. I still watch him to this day, but would do anything to have old pews start uploading again. Just 1 more amnesia video, 1 more with an old outro song, a cheesy brofist, and how's a going bros, my name is PEEEEWDIEPIE

The first song is the epitome of nostalgia for me.. Back when Pewds had first started playing amnesia is when I found out abt his videos.. Still occasionally go to his channel and select "videos (oldest)" to watch his really really old amnesia vids..

As nostalgic as this makes me, I am so glad to see how far Pewds has come and how he has evolved. And even though I do sometimes miss his old content, I wouldn't have it any other way. It sounds weird because he's just a TH-camr and I'm just some dude but having him be a constant for such a long time in my life and maturing alongside him has been incredible

All these songs are nostalgia. I remember when I was little, just watching his videos, sitting there and listening. He made me laugh. I'd sit and watch his videos for hours. He was surely something. Besides the outro was something I really loved.

After almost 9 years of being subscribed on and off, and with Pewd's no longer being the #1 channel on TH-cam, I couldn't help the urge of overwhelming emotions and found myself scrolling through his old videos and old old outro songs. While I lie here watching this young guy shouting at barrels and screaming to his son "I DON'T CAAARE", a wave of nostalgia washes over me. I reminisce of the nights where I would stay up for hours watching a channel I once used as a way to escape reality and deal with my struggling mental health. A place to laugh and cry. A place where I felt a genuine connection to someone who didn't even know that I existed other than as a single digit in a pool of 93,000 subscribers. While both myself, the other subscribers (both old and new) and of course Pewdiepie himself have grown up I just want to say: thank you Felix, for everything.
