Just in case your one of those self righteous snobs folks like myself, Psy was a long term artist completely ignored and unappreciated before Gangnam style became a sensation. When this guy became successful. Feels good man.
Psy was singing about sex and stuff that was taboo to talk about in korean conservative society since the beginning if his career. He deserves what he has, and its a shame most know him for gangnam style
I was only in primary school when I first heard of him, and it was from gangnam style. But his other songs to be fair are better
I wouldn't say he was completely ignored before Gangnam Style - he was on one of the top 3 record labels in Korea. I also remember seeing his videos every weekend on an Australian national tv network (before Gangnam Style). He wasn't huge but he certainly wasn't unknown
