    Hi Scott thanks for the review. Do you know if the Ulooper will process a stereo signal or only mono? The THR has stereo effects so it would be nice if stereo would be maintained in the looper.

      I’m not 100% sure. That would be a great question for XSonic. I would ask it over in their Facebook group.

      Confirmed with XSonic that it only processes mono.

    Does this looper also work with regular amps without USB like a standard looper? I have the spark mini but also a deluxe reverb.

      It currently does not work with regular amps. The input on the right is reserved for future use. XSonic says it may support guitar input in the future, which would make it function like any other looper. For now, it is only a USB Looper that is only compatible with the Spark amps. Another future feature may be the ability to use it as a USB Looper for other amps with USB interfaces.

    Stellar review Scott!!! I gig once a month, and looper's are used at least once an hour.. I tend to get a little over-eager, so I need to limit how often I use them... since I sometimes excitedly OVER-TAP, and mess up a nice groove, so I try and sit down when I use them now. This one looks good, and so do your new music reviews!

      It's a fun looper and perfect for the Spark amps. I only wish my playing skills were as good as my looping skills. The over-tap, and even the over-strum on the 1's, are common issues when looping.

      Have you reached out to XSonic? They are usually very active on their Facebook group and the chat rooms in that group if regular support channels aren’t working for you.

    Thanks for the in depth response Atleast this provides a loop option for the spark 40…

      Thanks for your feedback. But don't forget about the Spark Go, Mini, and Live. It works for all of them too.

    So, it only works with a Spark amp?! Not worth it.

    • @Raskull
      @Raskull  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Currently in testing, it is only Spark amps. XSonic is looking to expand to other amps via USB, as well as using the TRS input on the right for guitar input for regular amps, as I mentioned in the video.

      Unless your one of the 100,000’s of spark amp owners, as you only have iOS app loopers available not always practical?

      @@johnd3309 As you stated, there are a lot of Spark amp owners and this fill a void that Positive Grid has ignored for a while. As a previous owner of a NUX Mighty Space, I loved their looper, but didn't like the rest of the amp, so my desktop amp is a Spark and this will fit in nicely.

      @@Raskull it’s always been one of the biggest complaints about the spark going right back to the release of the spark 40. Positive grid ignored their user base with release of mini and GO.

      @@johnd3309 I once had someone at PG tell me they were working on a looper. Then I had someone else tell me that there wasn't enough horsepower in the Spark 40 to handle it. The Spark 40 actually starts to choke on a certain number of effects in the chain. If you have the Jimmy Hendrix pack, then you've most likely experienced this. Once I realized this limitation, I figured a looper was out of the question. Now, PG did change chipsets in the 40 around mid 2023 (which broke Windows audio drivers) so maybe they are trying to make the 40 more powerful? Only time will tell. For now, there is ULooper, unless you wanna deal with Loopy HD/Pro on a phone/tablet.
