Nice Thorough Exercise Kelly ........ I like Your methodical and measured purposeful approach on this tie !!! I can’t wait to twist some up ...... and give them a Fish 🎣, here in NW Michigan 🇺🇸
Absolutely love Whiting. They are the best. But, Im always on the look out for a a good Grade 1 or 2 vintage Metz cape due to the finer barbules barbules they have. In my opinion, I think they look a little better on the smaller flies I like to tie, not to mention the superb spade hackles they possess. Whiting capes don’t really have those nice long spade hackles for tailing. Not a knock toward Whiting, it’s just that they are too good!
Kelly the problem isn't that you talk too much. The problem is that out of every 1000 sentences you begin, you only complete 3 to 5 of them. Not a problem for me, mind you, I'll keep watching because I learn a lot from you. But if you're looking to placate those viewers who complain about verbiage, try finishing a sentence now and then.
Great fly, outstanding explanation, I learn something every time I watch you tie, thanks Kelly, John.

Very nice technique. Got it!
Great and deadly fly for here down n Patagonia. Thank you.
You mentioned tying parachutes without a post. Can you tie a fly showing how you did it with just the hackle stem?
Hi Kelly and team. Any chance of a long distance video request from NZ?
Love to see Johnny's Kill Whitey.
Thanks for the great video. Cheers.
What happened to the kill the corona video? I got the notification but then it said it was private when I went to watch it
We had some technical difficulties with it, but we will have the updated version up here very shortly
What scissors were you using??
They are Fiskar sewing scissors.
I just heard green drake hackle
For this PMD tie. The table really washed out the fly.
