@@MrPilcher1 I'm seeing you everywhere on here, do you believe God promises health and wealth to everyone on the earth? Or that prophecy is something you can be taught? I'm not saying prophecy can't happen but clearly it's not something you're taught and is of The Holy Spirit. Prophecy can't fail if it's from God, and The Bible tells not to despise prophecy in 1st Thessalonians 4:20 but we are supposed to test all things to what is of The Holy Spirit and what isn't. When you look at the state of the world how is it? Evil, revival is good and can happen but we're a world committed to idols and pagan ideals we sacrifice are children, the world wants a false savior and they will have one and when he comes everyone left on earth who wasn't ruptured remains here and will worship him. Why do you think it is that that the rapture doesn't happen in catholism or in churches like bethel? Because they prefer there ears being tickled, I'm not trying to pick a fight with you but I say what I say in love because the love of Christ dwells within me a love I have not earned. I was raised in a very demonic home and raised on new age teaching and bethel follows new age teachings. I'm not some holier than thou man that's come to attack you but want you and all to find and seek genuine truth. Read for yourself the new apostolic reformation doesn't align with The Word of God. A lot of things God forbids doing they are for and though it might seem insignificant it isn't
Faith is faithfulness, or fidelity. To be faithful to Christ like a wife is faithful to her husband and vis versa.
Honor the marriage vows (the new covenant) and not chase after idols and commit spiritual adultery as Israel did in the Old Testament, bringing about God’s wrath and the divorce from them.
Faith is more than just a belief, but actively showing fidelity to the bridegroom by honoring Him and His word.
I have been investigating the teaching coming from Bethel for over 11 years and it isn't getting any more biblical, it's getting weirder.
Times are getting darker and more deceitful every day.

What credentials do you have to make such a judgement often time when I read such comment it a word out the flesh not of the Spirit of God. God doesn’t always move in the always of our intellect. Even Jesus confused the religious and the religious were quick to try and condemn Him. I’ve made a point to listen to many messages not just from Bethel not just Bethel but other churches and what I’m noting is God doesn’t always move how our little box wants to contain Him. Try unboxing God in your life before commenting because you could be a stumbling block to others receiving. I’d not want that on my resume’ before God. I'm finding God is willing to use those that will step out into what some are very quick to critersise. Be glad you're not living back in the days of the Acts of the Apostles you’d certainly found much to query because it was all new. "investigating the teaching" try acvtually praying you're not called to investigatre but pray for our leaders.

You ask what credentials I have and then tell me I should only pray? Didn’t Paul exhort Timothy the study so that he could show himself approved?
I spent 40 years in a charismatic congregation and probably heard 3,000 prophetic utterances during that time. I know how it operates.

@@woodb51 Show me there the ministry of investigation is in the Bible don’t remember seeing that one listed. I know of teacher apostle & prophets but not aware of investigators. Sounds pretty flaky to me. So, it’s there to tear down ministries that doing God’s will. once again, I’m seeing those who are not of God creating division come up with whatever title you like but you’re not of God when you cause division and strife. no wonder the heathens think Christians are a joke when you parade on TH-cam you make Jesus look like a cripple by tearing down His body. Why don’t you spend you time finding what you have in common with these ones you tear down? When you attack a member of the Body you attack the head spend a few days reading Act 9 and see how Jesus spoke to Saul for his persecution of members of the body. He didn’t talk about the cross, the gospel, repentance! Without repentance we can’t be saved. If I’m remembering right all the real revivals in the past the spirit and anointing were there, people were falling out of the pews, falling on their faces and wailing over their sins, that is what changed their hearts, they were saved and changed. Bill made it very clear it was about the signs, experiences, manifestations and glory. Where is the picking up your cross, laying down your life to follow Jesus, dying to yourself daily. It’s hard, it will cost you everything. Whoever loses his life will find it. That isn’t spoken of let alone taught. We have a different gospel that was warned about in the word. Bill doesn’t even try to cover over what he’s doing, he plainly tells you yet thousands are deceived! Please people read your bible don’t get your answers from man. Watch the documentary American gospel it has opened many peoples eyes.

David Bennett is God's presence going to dwell where his principles are not, then God would contradict himself which is impossible.
But Bill is elevating God’s presence over His principles. God’s very presence was in Israel, in the ark of the covenant and the temple.
Israel still spiritually fornicated with idols and caused God’s judgement and His divorce from them, why?
Because His principles (laws) were not being followed and obeyed.
Adam and Eve walked with God in their daily lives. They talked to Him and had His presence there. They still sinned and fell, why?
Because they went against what God said and ate the forbidden fruit.
Bill can think he has God there with him 24/7 but if he disobeys His commands of the new covenant then he is no better than idolatrous Israel and fallen Adam and Eve.

And moreover, that even true Christians can sin and might need to repeatedly repent as they work ut their own salvation with FEAR & TREMBLING, while The Holy Spirit does His internal work of Sanctification in them - MADNESS! One of the church's that supports him here in southern ,Oregon .. well they talk like this and the head pastor and his wife were also called mama and Papa .. he wasn't my papa . I called him out before I ran and the rest of leadership. To think I had the application for me to join the supernatural Ministries too.. so scary and my daughters were going to join the Anthem school. We were saved from it but not without some crazy stuff happening to us all.. mental breakdowns , so much awful stuff after be there for 9 yrs too. They totally use mind control and did with us . It brought demons so bad .. this church and all of them like these are so evil and use kundalini the false HOLYSPIRIT. 😓😓..

God is good ...we still aren't in a church but God is moving in my life and my family's in huge ways. My husband and I will probably start out morning with a bible study. Ya know we didn't do it when we were in a church. We pray more ,read more , see God more now. We have been able to see the Truth daily still from the false indoctrination we had , we now are still seeing truth. I wasn't just that church but since we were saved we had learned things that weren't true and now reading the bible without a pastor telling us what to believe we are being able to heal and get a better view. Heal from our past too.. thank you for your comment. So loving and kind. I do miss fellowship with other believers. In time though , in time .. much love and blessings to you and have a blessed beautiful Day ..🥰

Now we are our own church, reading the Bible and follow the word of Jesus, not man! God gives us miracles in His own way - never caused by human manipulation. Thank you for sharing this. From his own mouth,in his own words we can clearly hear that his ministry has nothing to do with biblical salvation and following Christ Jesus. He says about John 2 that Jesus manifested His glory. No Jesus revealed His glory. To manifest means to show a quality or feeling by ones acts or appearance. To reveal is to make (previously unknown or secret information)known to others. Jesus revealed His glory. He did not show a feeling .
Bills use of language is so sinister. As a listener I find myself having to pause and try to understand what exactly does he mean by these statements ?

"I think he's (meaning the Lord) he's wanting to raise a generation of people that will learn to live from the presence of God, as opposed to merely living from the principles of God"
As if merely living from God's principles is too lowly. He's saying this so that whatever happens at bethel he can say "we live from God's presence". He's exalting spiritual manifestations above the Word of God. We know the Holy Spirit always points to Jesus. Always glorify Jesus. Bill lifts these signs and wonders above everything a true Christ follower is supposed to live by. We live by the Word. Not one 'encounter' to the next. Sorry for the long comment. I could write more. I have friends who believe this man is such a Holy man of God. My heart breaks for them. I know they have believed a lie. God have mercy on us all.

Been praying for a lady I really love in Christ to be led to the truth by the Holy Spirit. Just bumped into her and got talking. I believe I was meant to see her today. No matter what I say it's obvious to me she's convinced that the spiritual experiences she's had concerning Benny Hinn of all people are genuine. I won't give up praying. Indeed I will pray more !

Emma Hardie sorry 2 get involved I hate doing it but we can’t just twist things an make accusations that are not true. The word in John chapter 2 verse 11 is the Greek Word phaneroo which in this context is rightly translated manifest which actually refers here to what you said about the word reveal, There is nothing wrong with what he is saying about the word manifest. I do not attend bethel church and I know hardly anything about them I am only talking about the correct use of the word manifest. Obviously Greek is a more in depth language, I don’t know Greek but depending on whether it is in the active voice or the passive voice it means to manifest or to be manifested (manifested in ones true character)
Manifest as an adjective means obvious, clear, apparent, unquestionable, unmistakable.
As a verb it means what you said. But in the context of John chapter verse 11 and using the Greek word he is correct to say manifest. God bless you. Sorry to involve myself but we have 2 be careful making these kinds of accusations. Mud sticks.

Answer: The New Apostolic Reformation, or NAR, is an unbiblical religious movement that emphasizes experience over Scripture, mysticism over doctrine, and modern-day “apostles” over the plain text of the Bible. Of particular distinction in the New Apostolic Reformation are the role and power of spiritual leaders and miracle-workers, the reception of “new” revelations from God, an over-emphasis on spiritual warfare, and a pursuit of cultural and political control in society. Growth in the New Apostolic Reformation is driven primarily through small groups and church planting, often completely independent of a parent congregation. The movement is not centrally controlled, and many of its followers will not self-identify as part of it or even recognize the name. All the same, thousands of churches and millions of believers adhere to the teachings of the New Apostolic Reformation. Popular teachers associated with the New Apostolic Reformation include C. Peter Wagner, Rick Joyner, and Kim Clement.
The New Apostolic Reformation teaches that God’s intended form of church governance is apostles and prophets, holding leadership over evangelists, pastors, and teachers. However, this has not been the case for the vast majority of Christian history. So, according to the New Apostolic Reformation, God began to restore prophets and apostles over the last thirty to forty years. Only now, as the church is properly guided by the appropriate spiritual leaders, can it fulfill its commission. This commission is seen as more than spiritual, as it includes cultural and political control.
In the New Apostolic Reformation, apostles are seen as the highest of all spiritual leaders, being specially empowered by God. True maturity and unity, per the New Apostolic Reformation, is only found in those who submit to the leadership of their apostles. According to this teaching, as the church unifies behind the apostles, these leaders will develop greater and greater supernatural powers. Eventually, this will include the ability to perform mass healings and suspend the laws of physics. These signs are meant to encourage a massive wave of converts to Christianity. These apostles are also destined to be recipients of a great wealth transfer (in the end times), which will enable the church to establish God’s kingdom on earth.
Prophets in the New Apostolic Reformation are almost as important as apostles. These people have been empowered to receive “new” revelations from God that will aid the church in establishing dominion. According to the New Apostolic Reformation, only prophets, and occasionally apostles, can obtain new revelations. Evangelists, pastors, and teachers cannot. The prophets’ new revelations are crucial to overcoming the world, and the success of the church depends on the apostles following through on the information prophets provide. Most of their prophecies are extremely vague and easy to re-interpret, and the New Apostolic Reformation is willing to modify them, since they set no standard of infallibility for themselves.
According to New Apostolic thinking, mankind lost its dominion over earth as part of the fall of Adam. So Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross not only resolved our sin debt, but it empowered mankind-specifically, Christians-to retake control of the earth. The New Apostolic Reformation sees seven areas in which believers are supposedly empowered and expected to dominate: government, arts, finances, education, religion, family, and media. Of these, the New Apostolic Reformation sees government as the most important because of its ability to influence all of the other facets of life. As a result, the New Apostolic Reformation overtly encourages Christian control over politics, culture, and business. In some ways, this is nothing unusual, as people should be expected to vote and lobby according to their convictions. The New Apostolic Reformation, however, is often accused of pushing for outright theocracy.
Spiritual warfare, according to the New Apostolic Reformation, is meant to resolve worldly concerns. For example, economic troubles or health problems in a particular city are seen as the result of a demonic spirit’s influence. Prayer, research into the specific name of that demon, and other spiritual disciplines are then applied in an effort to combat this presence. This is necessary not only for the health of the region, but also because the church cannot take “dominion” over that area until the demonic control has been lifted.
Biblically, there are major problems with the New Apostolic Reformation. Claiming that Christians have access to certain spiritual gifts is one thing, but their distinctive approach to the role of apostles and prophets is a stretch from what is found in the Bible. More to the point, the office of apostle requires traits that are impossible today. For example, true apostles must be personal eyewitnesses of the risen Christ (1 Corinthians 9:1; 15:7-8), specifically designated as apostles by Jesus (Galatians 1:1; Acts 1:2; Luke 6:13), and already verified by miraculous signs (Matthew 10:1; 2 Corinthians 12:2; Acts 5:12).
The idea of new revelations from God, especially those that come in the form of vague, easily reinterpreted mysteries, runs counter to the idea of a faith delivered “once for all” to mankind (Jude 1:3). The fact that New Apostolic Reformation prophecies frequently turn out to be false suggests a false spirit behind those predictions (Deuteronomy 18:22).
The same holds true for miracles: the ideological father of the movement, C. Peter Wagner, decreed the end of European Mad Cow disease in 2001-and the disease is still being diagnosed and treated over a decade later. The tendency of the New Apostolic Reformation to treat spiritual warfare as a type of Christianized voodoo is not only unbiblical, but dangerous.
Likewise, the emphasis on an earthly kingdom contradicts Jesus’ own declaration that the Kingdom of God was spiritual, not political (John 18:36). It places an unhealthy emphasis on political and worldly approval, rather than Christlike influence.
Though it uses the word new, the New Apostolic Reformation is actually a reworking of a very common, very old approach. Since the beginning of Christianity, various groups have claimed to have a “new revelation” from God to correct all of the errors of the present world. These movements contend that “real” spirituality or maturity or truth is found only by those who listen to their leadership. Some of these sects, such as the Jehovah’s Witnesses and Mormonism, endure and become religions in their own right. Others fade away.
Much of what the New Apostolic Reformation teaches has at least some basis in Scripture, albeit carried much further than the Bible intends. That, however, still makes those doctrines unbiblical, and Christians should flatly reject the New Apostolic Reformation’s teachings and those who choose to be associated with it.

Wow! Thanks for posting. Many of my good friends are starting a church associated with Bill Johnson's teachings. I wouldn't be surprised if they register to be affiliated with Bethel. When I warn them out, I'm being told I'm "legalistic" and "God's moving." These are seminary educated people following this guy. When I hear my friend sound exactly like Bill Johnson, I'm saddened. My friend is very well-read, very smart, knows argument back and forth, has an MA from seminary but is totally sold on Johnson's teachings.
We can only pray that you and others making videos like this can help show them the errors of their ways!

Another way to tell if they are following the NAR 7 mountain theology is they all have untucked shirts and they have wave after wave of "Christian Authors" through their Churches to promote more and more watered down false doctrine. This is appalling on so many levels. First is Down Syndrome something that can, would, could, or even should be healed??? Our daughter has Down Syndroms. Down Syndrome is a Chromosomal abnormality and every single cell in a person's body would have to change for a person to not have DS. Maybe, just maybe we can be ministers of comfort as a result of living with difficulty, pain, and even disability that the Bible is clear God forms in his sovereign goodness...just a though. God is most likely doing something much more profound and deeper than we could ever imagine through trials to make us like our master Jesus.

You can’t use one example as your foundation for belief. The scripture justifies and explains itself. If you don’t know what it says - you will be mislead by experiences and a love movement that isn’t actually scriptural.

Problem with these so called "Word of faith" pastors is that, although I don't believe they do it intentionally, they do bring confusion and controversy between Christians. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is to be preached for one reason, and one reason ONLY: SALVATION from ETERNAL condemnation! Salvation is really the ONLY gift that matters, and it should be the focus of any real, Bible based church. In Luke 10:20, we read: " However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.” Repentance leads us to salvation, salvation leads us to Heaven. That should be the main focus of any Christian.

I'm sitting here thinking "This man calls himself an apostle, and can barely mention the name of Jesus, unless it's in some fleeting footnote, but Paul, now Paul would use every occasion to talk about Jesus, the cross, and the resurrection, anytime he was allowed to speak." The central message to the Gospel is the cross, and how Jesus died for our sins and rose that we might have eternal life. It is so WE could experience the death of the old man and the resurrection of the NEW man in our lives, not that some miracle might happened. What greater miracle is there than for us to rise from the dead and be seated in Christ at the right hand of the Father? I can't think of one.

Please pray for these men, it may be that they themselves believe what they preach, and do not outrightely want to deceive people, but that does not make it right. Too much flesh and carnal understanding, So therefore we need to pray for understanding and discernment. There are many of us who do not rightly divide the word of truth, the reasons are many, we do not understand what we hear, the devil has so many ways of obscuring the meaning of what we hear, its ambiguous, and some are not learned and therefore we do not understand what we hear. I've personally ministered to the homeless in San Francisco with his brother Bob Johnson and witnessed how they minister the word of God to homeless drug addicts seeing them delivered. I know why Bill and Bob are being attacked by the likes of you! I seriously doubt that you're little more than an armchair doctrinaire using the Bible to beat people up! What I like to hear when someone is talking about the Lord is a whole lot of Scripture. In my past years I attended 2 different churches where the junior pastors in both of these churches would bring a 'sermon'. I became very unnerved at both of these ministers as they would speak for ten minutes without having mentioned a single verse from the Bible. Out of the mouth speaks the heart. Sadly, both of these men got into adulterous relationships and messed up their families lives plus their own. I Know everyone is not a Catholic but, speaking as a Catholic, Jesus instituted a way to remain sacramentally with us on earth (yes we still have the Holy Spirit too) and that is through the Eucharist. So in ever church there is a tabernacle where the presence of God rests and awaits us.
Also, if you look at Catholic saints they have a uniform experience of being increasingly DEPRIVED of a tangible sense of Gods presence as they mature and become more and more sanctified. It is always a test of faith. The weak and baby Christians are the ones who God spoils a bit with reassurances.
