Great video once again There is also another variant on the IG fight where if you have your LB you can delay him casting his def up and just get him down to about half hp without worrying about the def up, same that you've done only on different phase (same goes for the puke dragon where you can delay him breathing)
@@emanuele8000 If you use an attack before an enemy goes into an attack that causes a cutscene, like the Iron Giants grand sword, your attack won't actually connect but you will get some of your limit gauge filled and retain your ATB. Just something to help push out LB faster.
I actually just finished this run with your previous vid as guide. I did use seph though instead of tifa as I just can't reach 2k+ ark with her. I think I failed 5 times and on the 6th one, I tried reaching 6k hp for all and survived the final boss at the end
I've been trying for 6 hours to get a better score. I changed my team up for more damage but I generally fail either at the Astral or just from my own screw ups. I did beat it with only a 20% score boost with an average of about 62k on each boss, and got 101k on the astral but it was about 80k less than my current high score. I'm about to try and get a clear with 30% boost.
@@peepee... thanks so much. I had no idea. This changed how I can play the game, honestly. I thought because of low, mid, and high potency abilities that there were only three tiers. Sometimes I felt like I was unable to do anything about buffs especially on things like iron Giants. I was struggling with the very hard astral giant and not having a good debuffing weapon. I ended up equipping clouds weapon that does the AOE PATK debuff, even though it's very low level and no OB, along with Aerith debrave. I needed that combo to beat the last boss. Thanks again for this info!

14:30 just to clarify, you were saying ATB bar when you meant to say to Limit gauge. Might be confusing for some people who don't know this trick.

I've watched a lot of your guides. Thanks! Why don't I see the two down arrows on my debuffs when I cast nightbloom twice or pair with hard edge?

Canceling animations don't cancel buffs either, like with Tifa's No Mercy.
Yea it's a great mechanic to use if properly timed.

Most of the Sub-Equip are max Over-boosted tho... That helps ALOT.

When you say the Elixers are expensive, do you mean you take a bigger item use hit by using them over a combination of all the others?
Yes every item has a different value, elixir being one of the most expensive ones in this.
