Wow ... first time I’ve seen your work and I absolutely love it! Calm and creative! Absolutely love the pop of colour with the green fingers. The softness of the light tunnel draws me gently in. I’ve never seen the ribbons before and I’m blown away with them. Thank you for sharing such talent... you’ve got a new fan. Enjoy your day and I look forward to following your incredible work. 🤗🙏🏻💝
You are, undoubtedly, the Queen of ribbon pours! At first, I thought the colours weren't quite right, but the end result! Wowser!! LOVE the 'plants' on the edge, and that second ribbon looks amazing with its fold-over. Absolutely gorgeous! ❤
I have spent a good part of my painting day watching your videos while painting. Many I have not previously seen and others that I have. I really enjoy them.
Oh goodness I love you. Im a little behind so I just saw your gallery video with bloopers. Your art is beautiful but your false starts were wonderful and gave me such a giggle. Thank you so much 💕
Wow this was amazing with the ribbons added to enhance it. I'm watching you for the first time & since am a beginner to this art it was so exciting to see all these new techniques you were sharing with us. Am really looking forward to your next pour. Thank you so much for making it so interesting.
I am a huge admirer of your pours as well as embellishments. Wondered if you knew you could keep more of those tips (fingerlings) you liked. Notice how the paint rolls over itself as you tilt? You may already know that adding paint around the edges (flow extender) allows your design to stay on top as the added paint rolls off. It will preserve more of your original poured design. I so enjoy your videos. Thank you for sharing your creativity with us.
Thank you for the suggestion! I'll give it a try, though I'm so frugal I feel like it's a waste of paint! LOL! I do appreciate your feedback and encouragement, though! 😘
Love your ribbons! The pink tips on the green fingerlings are gorgeous. I think they're just enough. I liked it before them as well...Payment coming for the painting coming tomorrow! YAAY!
Well, you popped up on my list today, so I decided to take a chance and see what you had to offer. I’m so glad that I did. I don’t see a lot of round canvas pours, and I have never seen anyone do this ‘ribbon pour’ I think you called it. I really like what the ribbon has to offer, although I think I might have stopped after 2 ribbons because I fear I will ruin a piece. Also, I think it gets a bit busy, but to each his own, and to the artist their art. Before the ribbon portion of the pour I loved the fingerlings that you are so fond of. I think you might have preserved more of that portion of the painting had you put down a little bit of ‘flow extender’ so that the paint didn’t roll over itself, but either way I think you did a great job of not losing that portion of the painting completely. I am subscribing now so that I will be notified of your upcoming videos. I am looking forward to seeing what you have for us next.
It's very Dali'esque. I wasn't sure I was going to like this to be 100% honest. When you added the ribbons & landed on turn 2 for composition I quickly ate crow & kicked my crazy prejudgment to the curb. Lol I KNOW BETTER TO PREJUDGE TOO... It's not over until the artist calls it DUH! Hahahaha! The anticipation is part of the fun so I get giddy when I'm thinking meh/naw/barf/ooooo ya/love it/😯 & then the artist calls it & suddenly my jaw is on the floor & I'm moved to an unexpected feeling. You are quite talented m'lady! 💚 Thank you for sharing!
LOL!! I like your honesty and descriptive writing! It's my pleasure to create videos...some are winners and some are not. Funny, some of my favorites are not viewed much and some I'm so-so on are well received! To each his/her own! 😊
I just love this one. You are so awesome at the ribbons. I’m not sure I could do that lol. I would have to practice many many times on an old canvas before I would be confident in not screwing up the whole thing lol.
Came out really pretty I am digging that green color with like the dark purple on the edge it’s so awesome looking and the Rubens make it look 3-D I love how it turns one color and literally flips into another without breaking apart or making it look like you put white or a different color right there just naturally did it!!!😍
Really fascinating! Just happened upon your channel and looked at your fabulous website!! What attracted me especially was the ribbon work because I've recently begun adding them to my artwork as well. You've really mastered it!! I'm in the Central Valley of California. Used to be in SB. Wondering where you're located and if you have a brick and mortar store/gallery as well.
Hi Kate! I'm in Lompoc, just north of Santa Barbara! I did a video a few back just for fun where I show the Gallery where I am featured artist for August. I hope you can watch it...the gallery is charming! (I thank you for visiting my website!(
LOL...thank you, Tiffany...the rodents, or any animal, take me hours to paint. Would be too long and sped up wouldn't be useful, I think. If I can figure something out in stages, I will. Thanks for watching!
Recently I found your channel and became a huge fan of you!!You are so much talented✨I always fall in love with your amazing work✨ I have been struggling of ring and drizzling pour so yours are exactly what I have been looking for!! Thank you so much for sharing your recipe🙏 I watched #76 too also I found Dan Hodge’s Instagram as you mentioned and followed! I’m very beginner for TH-cam channel and Instagram but may I try your(&his) recipe? And if I could get some results, may I post my video and share your video as my respect artist?(with you and his credits) Thank you so much for sharing recipe and great artwork😊🙏✨
This is absolutely beautiful Chris! Love listening to your creative process. The ribbons folding over are fabulous! May I ask if you varnish your pieces after drying?
Depends on the look I want...they make all three. If I want a super shiny resin looking finish (I haven't tried resin...I have chemical sensitivities), I use Deco Art Clear Pouring Top Coat.
I really like the two techniques together and the minimal ribbons. I think more ribbons would have been a distraction. BTW You are an awesome ribbon pourer. Mine don't turn out like yours. Keep up the good work.
@@ChrisJeszeck I would love that...I am here in the states...I live in Tucson....I'm sort of a shut in...can't go without my walker....but I started this in Feb....and I just can't do something right.... .I threw away 25 canvases yesterday because I'm so upset that I can't get any results...but I'm am going to try your recipe as soon as I get my glue....
Good for you...limit your colors to no more than 3 or 4 and start small, no bigger than 10x10 to avoid too much frustration...I know the feeling. I just hosed one off today.

Thanks for noticing the fold over...my favorite part, too! As always, thanks for you kind words, Nicky!
Wow, the ribbons are so elegant, like old world script. So lovely.

It's one of my favorites, but going cheap on my website! 😉🤣

Love your use of colours Chris and your ribbons are the perfect finishing touch 😁😍

Thank you, Emily! Yes, do give them a try!
I agree less is more for this 1 very pretty
Yes, I actually stopped at this point! Often I continue after filming and have ruined more than a couple paintings! 🤣
Très beau. J’adore. Félicitations. Kate

Chris Jeszeck Thank you so much Chris😊💖
👋 Chris. Wacky colours combo very nice. Was wondering if it dried darker.?
It's about 50% dry...no change in color or form. I will show it on a future video (not the next...already scheduled)...stay tuned! 😊
This is absolutely beautiful Chris! Love listening to your creative process. The ribbons folding over are fabulous! May I ask if you varnish your pieces after drying?
Thanks, Linda! Yes, I do varnish. Usually with a spray varnish to avoid brush strokes and any chance of cracking. I like Winsor and Newton spray.
@@ChrisJeszeck Thanks, Chris! High gloss, matte, or satin?

Me again...bugging you...hey #82 that you hated.... I absolutely love it....I couldn't find it on my phone....but It's so nice.....
You're not bugging me at all! I love the feedback! Are you in the US? #82 is going cheap ($48), free shipping in US! 😘

#48 is larger (14×14), framed and is $85, free shipping through November. 😊 More on my website...www.chrissypaints.com

I might attempt this. How thick is the paint? I can see myself adding ribbons and them just oozing off. LOL
LOL...it does take some practice. I did a video just a few back where I demonstrate exactly how to mix and the consistency needed.
This may be a dumb question, but how much paint? Just to the color you like?
I'm not following your question...ask again?
@@ChrisJeszeck you listed the ratios for all the other ingredients but not the paint... maybe I misunderstood.
Ah...no worries...where I listed the colors I believe I wrote "one part paint to two and a half parts medium" 😊
J'adore ! Une fois sec , est ce toujours pareil ?
Merci...oui! 😘
Love your ribbons, can you let me know your secret please , beautiful painting, thanks for sharing 👍🌺
I've only found it to be successful with this recipe, which I detail in the description. 😊
Thank you very much for your response, I really appreciate it 😘
And....I think you are a tremendous artist
Do you teach??
Just here, my dear, though I've given a handful of private lessons here and there. 😊
So pretty. I get to concentrating so much and then the ads pop up and scare me. Lol
Lol! I've had that same experience! Thanks for watching, Pauline! 😊
