WOW I love this. Sarah Mack shouted you out after trying a similar technique so we had to check you out. I love the elegance of this piece its really beautiful.
Lee/Jeremy, Chris is the incredibly talented artist I told you about, who does amazing things with ring and ribbon technique. You HAVE to have a go! ❤️
Oh my God..what a stunning piece 😍😍😍 “not bad!!??” Have you honestly no idea how beautiful it is? Sweet Jesus..I hope you didn’t pour over it 🥺. Thank you for this amazing video 🥰🙏🏼🍀
LOL...Thank you for making me laugh! I did mess with it, sadly (see video 75), but it worked out...painting sold. Everybody happy. Maybe I'll try to recreate someday. 😘
It was different than what you usually do, I could see that. But it was lovely. You wanted classic and elegant, and you achieved that! Having a more restful, elegant piece is beautiful in itself. No need to jazz it up in any way. I love it!
Thank you, Karen Ann! I usually go for bright colors, so the use of these metallics is probably part of it. Did you see my recent video where I embellished it(after ruining it)??!
Well, sadly I didn't, but I ended up embellishing it and it sold, so it all worked out in the end! You can see what I did to it under my Embellishments playlist. 😘
I did my first ribbon pour using the Minwax medium with floetrol, glue/water. I found it quite tricky to manage the canvas as the paint is so think but the mixture really is perfect for crisp ribbons snd I’ll do more! Thanks 😃
Ha ha ha from your reaction I didn’t think you would keep it ‘as is’ . That is what I love about art, it truly is in the eye of the beholder. If my art doesn’t make me totally happy when I look at it half an hour later it either gets swiped, painted over or embellished 🤣. I would love to see what it looked like after being ‘embellished ‘👍
Absolutely stunning,a true original piece of art. Please don't scrape it. You are the only utube pour artist that I have seen that doesn't swoon over her work! 😁 '
Thanks Lisa...this painting is long gone...I messed with it, kind of ruined it, painted flowers on it (see video 75), and sold it, so it all worked out! 😊
I think it looks very nice. !!! When I'm working with metallics like that I like to use the Folk Art pearl white instead of regular whites ...it gives my work some very nice effects and I prefer the look of it over the starkness of most of the regular whites. It tones it down and just seems more fitting with the metallics ..but that's just my personal preference . Great pour

@@jonaeflure I have heard of his pouring medium having glue in it and I just dont think glue is a pouring medium and really serves no purpose..glue is basically a cheap version for pouring mediums but its not archival nor is it made to be used with paints... a lot of the Artists in the States stopped using glue at all in any of their pouring mediums but there are very very few who still use it . I have tried it and notice zero difference in my work and I have been pouring for a long time and have tried many many different pouring mediums . Hi 👋 so glad Sarah Mack mentioned your pour/channel! This piece is stunning, cant wait to catch up on your other 64+ videos! There just arent enough hours in the day to watch and paint! 😍 x
I love the contrast of the colors. The white looks like waves of clouds and lightning over the gold. Awesome painting. Don't change it st all. Thank you for sharing your talent with us
I liked this from the beginning. The white/silver areas seemed to become more enhanced as they settled from the tilting. I'm glad you didn't scrape it! I love the cloud swirling effect.🤍
Fascinating pour, love your colour choice ♥️♥️ The only part l would have brought down a Little is on the black corner with the gold above. I would have put a drop of Pearl white and tilted it towards the gold, but not touching so you would have a black line. You forgot to torch, for more cells. 🌹☘️☘️🌹 Cheers
