I'd say a main priority when tanking anything is making sure mobs or "enemies" do not face your group as cleave or cone or chain attacks can quickly wipe a group if going unchecked and can stress a healers mana pool or just stress a new player that's healing for the first time out and they never want to heal again after a few wipes to unknown factors such as those.

Very true on this point, this will definitely be included in a follow up video :)

I have played around with it yesterday and will do a short video on the follower dungeons soon.
It is indeed a great feature for players starting to get into a new role!

Little confused: in the UI tip section you recommend bringing your party frames closer to keep an eye on the party. Solid! But later when you demo being in a 5 man, the party frames are horizontal and have the look of an addon?

I may have used some UI's detailed in my healer video!
There is an option to have them horizontally and looking like that without any addons :)

You did a great job with this. I'm going to give you some feedback but that's only to help you continue to improve, not to say that your work was not already very good.
Slight addendum: Rage is also generated by "white" swings aka auto attacks.
That's something they'd figure out very quickly inside a short gameplay session so its no big deal.
One of the biggest improvements I think you could make is by taking the intimidation of the talent tree off their hands. Most players dont want to use the "blizzard suggested" spec since they rarely actually feel very good to play but the amount of choice is daunting, so creating a base talent build for each and linking the talents may have been a good choice, ontop of showing it on screen. However that may also have been information overload so just letting it go at base level was also a reasonable choice I agree.
Making a follow up video to this for "The day after: where to take your tanking next" and talking about how to continue to improve would be a great step. I personally would include things like getting used to reading guides both on your class and on the content you'll face on wowhead or similar sites, checking out other talents by trying to stay grouped around one part of the tree while testing and borrowing talent builds from others, trying to find synergies, repeating dungeons at increasing levels of difficulty (Normal to heroic at first then m zero when ready,) how to get better gear and as you get more serious trying to match your stat priority because it will improve your gameplay experience the most, "advanced tactics" (lol) like using aoe stuns, waiting to kick until the cast has almost gone off so the caster wastes the most time, grouping packs up for aoe, How to communicate things to your group such as reminding them "if an add gets on you, run to me," reminding them that someone getting angry at them doesnt mean they did a bad job and they shouldnt freak out, people are just like that, etc.
That doesnt mean you need to include all or even any of these points. Some of it might be too fast to soon, some of it might be basic common sense and you dont need to say it at all, some of it you might not believe in being good advice and all of it may not even match your desired tone or method. All of that is fine. Its your channel and your video I just want to offer suggestions.
    You're doing great. I subbed.

      Thank you for he feedback!
It is funny how many of your ideas have played through my head as well when thinking about following up this video.
When preparing the tank video, I realised there is so much you can say about tanking so I will definitely have some follow up videos on where to go next, extra tips, etc.
So thank you again for your meticulous feedback and I am sure you will see some points when I make the follow up video :)
