I make this all the time with my home canned chicken. I usually use cream of chicken or cream of celery because I don't care for mushroom. Sometimes I'll use the jar cheese whiz instead of the soup. We moved up North to Ohio from Kansas. Things are STRANGE up here. My Grammy always made something similar for the holidays, but she used the jarred cheese (I think it's called cheese whiz, but not in the can). I'm hoping to make something like this for Thanksgiving. Yes it is a little early to plan but I have no clue what we will have available as it gets closer to Turkey day.
