    the biggest thing i've learned from tam's videos is the power of solo dating. last night i just went to amc theaters and bought myself popcorn and a huge drink and watched Wish. the bookstore is right across from the theater so i went and bought think and grow rich + the think and grow rich journal for manifestations. just applied for my first credit card as a third year uni student. i'm so excited for the new year and all the love and knowledge tam has given us. i'm so grateful for you!!

    As a 12 year old who’s already addicted to social medias, I’m trying to get better by watching motivational videos on TH-cam and trying to decrease my screen time and spend more time with my family or even go for a walk alone. I’ve started selling my old stuff to make some extra cash and I want to start a business but I’m not exactly sure what I want to sell yet. i’m not interested in drop shipping. Overall, watching your videos really help me, thank you and love you Tam ❤

    (updating regularly) Thank you Tam! I've heard that if you do something regularly for 21 days, it's easier to develop it as a habit. So I've thought to end 2023 creating a disciplined lifestyle for the new year. This video is just here in the perfect time. I'm staring from 10.12.23. I'll come back here to update! :)

    It’s half past midnight (10.12.23.) in my timezone and I've planned my day. I'll update if I can keep up with my to-do list. Like Tam said, I've planned for every hour and I've kept breaks in between (without phone) too! I have also set a reward for myself if I'm able to complete it. This shall be the system for everyday.
    *Edit 2*: Yesterday (10.12.23) didn't go as I planned. I'll be 100% honest, I did procrastinate. I managed to complete a few tasks but not all. A bit disappointed but I'm going to be better.
    11.12.23. : completed yesterday's task, left some incomplete.
    12.12.23: history exam was over so after that I slept well and just chilled, did nothing really.
    13.12.23: huge improvement today, completed all my tasks, started a new workout routine which was tough but still did it completely. Very satisfied today. Treating myself with a few episodes of gossip girl. (Recently started watching)

    Hey Tam! Re-watching here 🙋‍♀️ One goal of mine for 2024 is to limit social media/phone usage and practice being more present and productive. I turned off my push notifications today for my social media apps and set a daily time reminder on the apps so when I do go in and scroll, it will give me a pop-up reminder after 15 min. Of usuage to get off. So far my phone is so quiet and I love it. Thank you :)
    Here watching this again 5 months later to help me get back on track, because I've been stressed lately and spending more time on my phone and social media again 🙁

    I have started working on myself from 1st December and trying to get a habit before I start new year and I really wake up without using my phone for like a week now and I'm so freaking happy and my mornings are far better than it was used to be, I do yoga and I do meditations in the morning. The only thing is that I use my phone and earphones in the morning because I do guided meditation since I'm a beginner and I can assure that it's just amazing. I love Tam and I'm TELLING you this is life changing!

    I got on to TikTok and was scrolling and I paused, why was I on TikTok, and I felt so determined to break this addiction that I got on TH-cam to search it and just like a wonder Tam's video popped up from nowhere on my screen.     Tam this is actually the most needed video because we get so addicted and burned out that we think cutting these off will help and forget that these are the things we can use for our betterment, every single thing on this planet is useful it either we take them for granted because it's in our hands or use it for our own good, and mostly people are so burned out is delusion and social media that they don't even know whats real and what to do with life, this was me last year, I hope every people comes out from this mind and uses social media as a right weapon not a burned out toy!!!💗

    Heyyy Tam! "Make your discipline more attractive".. I have to confess I've started watching Gilmore Girls to get that extra spark of inspiration/attractiveness of studying.     I mean, I deleted all of my social media accounts but for a different primary purpose. But the secondary purpose is to not get addicted to it over time. It’s really helped me a lot, and I feel this clarity in my mental health.

    This video is gonna be so helpful for me who is constantly trying to minimize my social media screen time and do something productive, I recently made my homescreen layout color scheme black and white (a solid black backgrould, b&w icons) and then I realized that a plain home screen layout makes me wanna go on my phone less and be less distracted by all of these colors :)

    Love this video so much. I also naturally got frustrated with my social media habit because it feels so disgusting to find myself at the end of a ridiculously long doomscroll and realize how much time I’ve wasted / how much daylight is going. It’s like the opposite of a “fresh” feeling. More like garbage, sweaty in pajamas, hair needs washing and daylight is dwindling kind of feeling. Lol. Then there’s the aspect where everyone on social media has access to my energy (either indirectly by their posts influencing my moods, or directly by them DMing me and I inevitably open it then feel pressured to respond as a recovering people pleaser). I can tell people I’m really busy, need to study etc. but some will continuously message me stupid memes and ignore those boundaries (who can blame them? It’s up to ME to not open those if I don’t have the time). So in a heap of frustration, I actually did delete all my social media apps recently - my frustration broke the addiction, and this cutoff from everyone who was annoying me feels REALLY good. 😂😂😂😂 of course, here I am on TH-cam.. but yours is the only video I have watched this morning. Off to study. Thanks Tam!!!

    I so agree with the importance of making your offline life more alluring and exciting rather than focusing so much on tips and tricks for staying off your phone. You’ll naturally stay off your phone more when the life outside of it becomes worth living
