I've had one of your trucks since 2018 and I love it. A lot has changed over the years but it's still pulling my 5th wheel. Also I still proudly wear the RV Haulers step guard. Thank you again!!
Now, that shower in the sleeper is a cool idea! I remember when Storm first sold! I dream of the day to be able to work with you to build our RV. One day soon we hope!
Hi Gregg, that is a shame that the previous owners travelling was cut so short with Storm. The buildout of this truck is a testament to the work that you do!
Im starting at the bottom. But between "storm" and the 42' custom trailer all as one black and green wrap, would be a sweet unit. Im building a 1972 gmc 6000 bus , with 8.5x14 foot camper, 4' deck, to pull my 1997 26' camper.
I like this unit. I have a 32' bumper pull right now, but considering a HD truck. My 2500 Ram had to stop hard couple of times and scared pee out of me.
Greg question, It looks like the 5th wheel hitches are lower on the RV hauler than how they are mounted in the back of pickups. Is it me, or are they lower? Do the new 5th wheel camper king pin mount lower than older models? I have a 2011 Keystone Avalanche, and I fear it would not match the height of a RV hauler and I would need to replace it.
I have current pricing on my website - here is a link that will take you right to your information and some additional video links too! www.rvhaulers.ca/inventory/for-sale-the-rvhauler-storm-is-ready/
Hey hey, Always always excited to see when you have posted a new vid. Very curious to learn more about the cam system. I’m a professional driver and would love to have a system that I could somehow move from trailer to trailer. I’d love to hear more about the warranty as well. Is that something that can be used for commercial use as well? My dream is to buy a VNL 780 for commercial use and then turn it into a hauler after I have made some money with it. Great video as always keep up the great work.
Oh one other thing. Why do you use Volvos so much? What is it about them you like so much? Also how do you like the new body style are they better or worse? I drive a 23 freightshaker full height sleeper with workstation and do like it a lot. The mileage is amazing on them! Anywhere from 8.5-10 depending on load! Thanks
Hi Adam, The warranty is something I have had tailored just to my RVHauler builds. The warranty can't be put on a commercial vehicle sorry. Thanks always for your great questions, and the support of my channel. Gregg
Hi Adam, There are always advantages and disadvantages of the new VS old. I really have no bias one way or the other. The budget tends to be the primary tipping point towards either a newer one or a slightly older one. Volvo has traditionally had the quieter interiors, very fuel efficient autoshift transmissions, and the nicest equipped workstation sleepers. The other brands are catching up however - the Kenworth is certainly a nice alternative. Gregg
Gosh, I can't keep up with the videos! When am I going to have time to actually work on RVHaulers? Ok, I promise I will make a video on the black/blue. I still haven't chosen a name. Wait a sec. Thinking..... Black and Blue. ... Black and Blue..... ..... How about BOXER? They sometimes get black and blue don't they? Ggg
Does Randy still own it or has it been passed on? Ran and Jo first saw me at a fulltimers rally and fell in love with the big truck idea. They ended up with you and Rolling Retreats. Truck looks great by the way.
Price was one AWESOME RVHAULER! I am still in contact with Kim and Ed, and I have invited them to come visit us on the coast. I am still hoping to see that gorgeous one-of-a-kind some day. They are still travelling in style in PRINCE! Gregg
WAS STORM AND ALL THE TRUCKS YOU WORK WITH BRAND-NEW WHEN YOU START OR YOU START WITH ONES THAT WERE USED ORIGINALLY COMMERCIALLY AND HAD A LOT OF MILEAGE ON THEM ALREADY THEN REWORK THEM. ?!!!?
We have built RVHaueler for people doing exactly that! If you want to see a very interesting RVHauler setup as a Haul and Tow - click here to see it! th-cam.com/video/Ur2dKlCzllQ/w-d-xo.html Gregg

Smart cars are so terrible reliability wise wouldn’t it make more sense for the wife to just follow the truck in a better car like an used civic or Corolla?
No problem with our Smart either. If you have a chaser then you have fuel and maintenance costs. If you don't want a Smart then configure the bed to haul a Honda length wise.
Gregg, great looking still after 64k miles! Nice work, nice quality stuff!! Just back from the HDT National Rally, learned a lot, refined our ideas.
Hello Hello Gene!
The Rally is always an awesome event. Glad you found value in attending.

Storm looks great. My condolences to the seller, I hope they find peace again.

@@rvhaulers Wish I was able to buy Storm right now but not able to swing it, it has most everything I would want.
Real nice truck Greg! We would like a shop tour if you ever get a chance. Take care from a Canadian living in Ohio.
Hey Dan! We like visitors!
Thanks for watching, Gregg

I am interested in seeing one of your truck getting a 200” condo sleeper unit.
Hi Andrea! Just call, and I'll make you what you want! I am waiting for that order from a client too!

Hello Javier,
All our RVHaulers are setup to meet the industry standard hitch heights. 50 to 51 inches above ground.

Hi Gregg.
What's the overall length of the truck, and how many inches is the pin from the rear of the truck please?
Hello.
29 foot 1 inch bumper to bumper.
The pin is 14 inches forward of the rear bumper.
