Hello Dan! You mean one of my videos worked? Right on! My phone number is in the description. Why not give me a call and we can start a bit of brainstorming. Thinking is free sir! It is never too early to start thinking ahead and making plans. Gregg
Great job, that new concept is very interesting. At this point, being so in love with your original design, I’ll have to see as new ones are manufactured. Thanks Kc
I'll make a video about the manufacturing process. Remember, this is just an ALTERNATIVE to the steel bed design. Can can still make that for you! Thanks as always for your great questions and comments! Ggg
Hey Gregg I had a thought for you in regards to the bolt on stairs (great idea BTW). How about a pet ramp/ stairs that can clamp or pin onto the stairs? I know there are many folks out there that have pets. And with the fiber material they would be super light to pickup and install. I bet you could make a hanger for them on the side of the drom box where they are secure with quick access.
Wow! One of your best videos yet! I watched the whole thing because it was that interesting. I would love to have the opportunity to purchase one of your haulers and to go through the whole planning and creative process with you so that "we" produce just the right hauler for my needs and budget. Plus, I would want a lot of your new gee-whiz goodies on my hauler. Thank you, sir! PS -- As I recall, the last video I watched was a couple of weeks ago, and you were wearing shorts. In this video, I got to see the Alberta I was expecting. 🙂 Lou from Georgia.
Ahhh, you are certainly sharp-eyed. The reality is that we are a small company. I am the guy that answers the phones, gets is hands on RVHauler builds, trains customers, and designs the RVHaulers too. Plus, I am continually looking for ideas on improvements. AND being a husband, father and having our own lives and travels and fun needs time too! Finding time to video, edit and publish videos is sometimes a challenge. Sorry I can't always keep the weather in mind when I get some videos out there! Gregg
FANTASTIC product Gregg, sure got my attention! How cool is that! Seems pretty much like a no brainer. I would like to see the other videos you mentioned but don't see a way to get to them ... I must be blind in one eye and cant see out of the other :) . The steps are great, too! June had a hip replacement and this I expect would help her out. Looks like they're doing a nice job on your metal roof.
Love the new decking Greg That's exactly what I want for my truck when you build it for me that will allow me to put Cindy's car on the back her Kia Sorento and still be able to go ahead and save some weight I think that is a fabulous product I can't wait to see what my truck will look like when we build it with you
Hi James, I am glad you like the new bed system. It is an alternative that saves quite a bit of weight. In particular when we get into SUVS and vehicles heavier than the Smarties, we start to think about our overall weights. It allows us thousands of pounds of carrying capacity we can allocate to things like your Kia, or a Jeep or maybe a BRONCO? Thanks for taking the time to comment James. Gregg
Wow! what a lot of information to digest! I love the modularity aspect of it. For those of us that want it all but can't afford it all at the same time. I will say, I never knew how much I liked the dove tailed rear-end before I saw this one without it. JMHO but the squared off rear-end makes it look a little "industrial". Can't wait to start my journey. Keep putting out these wonderful videos!
Good point about the narrowing of the bed at the tail section. The engineers and I went around and around quite a bit, and unfortunately the system doesn't lend itself to being fabricated with that angle. What was key in my mind was to ensure the engineering was sound, strong, and reliable. Remember this is just an alternative. It certainly has a different look than we are used to. There are positives and negatives between the CANBed and the steel beds. YOU GET TO PICK! Every one of my RVHaulers is custom, and designed to meet your budget, visuals, and function. Thanks for watching! Gregg
Hi Paul. I am glad the "look" is to your liking. It definitely has a bit different visual compared to the steel beds I have been building. However, there are some advantages. Thanks for watching, Gregg

Suggestions. Lower your wireless microphone 6 inches (15 CM) and use the gain button on the wireless receiver, mounted on the camera, to reduce your gain.
@@rvhaulers I would need to know the model and manufacturer of the mic and receiver. A very common receiver has 3 buttons on the bottom. One of them is labeled gain and refers to "0", "-12" and "-24" db. Check the operator's manual. You may be set at "0" db and need it to be lowered to "-12" or "-24" db. It may just say db. Also, placing the mic over your chest sternum adds a bass sound to your voice. Lowering the mic placement will give you a more natural sound. Some people like the sound, but for people that are hard of hearing, the lac of high frequencies from your voice, make you hard to understand. I think some of your viewing audience may be up in age. I have been an audio engineer and television editor for 45 years.

That looks like a sound product shame the RV industry dont use it for floors instead of rotting plywood < ref Airstreams / but even they have gone composite > Yes there is nothing worse than a bed with rust streaks showing next to a mirror finished tractor cab , out of curiosity what was the board designed for, also whats the fire proof propertys or is it just coated retardent, will the bolt-heads pull through this product in time , it would be nice to see concealed fixings on the skirt of the bed instead of exposed heads . Sorry to ask a lot of questions but its an interesting product overall very impressed.
Hello There RV lifers! I am delighted to say we can move our RVHaulers through our production schedule quite a bit faster now when folks choose our CANBed option. They are much faster to produce and get on the road for my clients (compared to our steel beds). I can build a bed in as little as one week. The conversion and prep can take around 3 weeks. Overall, we can get one finished in a month. Also, this has made our "wait-time" overall much shorter too! I can get you into a production slot in just a few weeks now! Please note that if you add other fancy features and customizations, it can take a bit longer. Things like generators, camera systems, custom graphics, and painting can add a few more days to a build. Keep these awesome questions coming!!!!!! Gregg
Hi Mr Gregg, I am interested in the rust proof Canbed. I have a 2013 Kenworth T700 with tandem axles. I would not need a 5th wheel trailer hutch as I would be towing using a bumper hitch for a travel trailer. I would want ramps to be able to load my vehicle from the very rear.
Yes it will. Any time we reduce our downward weight force we reduce our coefficient of static friction (traction). However most of us LOVE to load up our rvhaulers. If we reduce the bed weight with a CANBed, we can carry more weight in toys and tools? Ggg
