I found it much easier to remove the four bolts holding the fender brackets to the frame and sliding off the whole fender assembly. Did you use the tube supplied to run your wires inside the fender? I did not like that so I drilled a hole directy under the right turn signal and ran the wire through a grommett then with the turn signal wire under the fender bracket.
@@BikeNBird thank you. Just wanted to confirm that local bike shop robbed me. Dude said it took them 8 hours to do this job, but was only gonna charge me for 6.5 hours. Ended up only charging me for 6. Straight up robbed me, what I paid for the job is absolute blasphemy, every time I think about it I feel shame lol
@@MarvFitBikesKicks oh man! Yeah I hate to say it but you totally got robbed. Even stopping to film and swap cameras etc it probably only took me 2 hours tops. I could literally do this with my eyes closed in under 8 hours.
Can you explain the wiring a bit more. Please. It was hard to see how you did it in the video. I just dont want to buy a product not unless i know i can install itm so i do my research first. Is it possible if you can show me a diagram?
Possibly, just not your whole warranty. If you have some electrical issue they could infer that because non-HD lights were installed by someone other than a harley tech that it would be the fault of the owner. Though that wouldnt void your entire warranty, Between2Wheels did a good episode on that topic with John Maxwell weighing in on it.
