Yeah, I keep coming back to this performance, and I always get a little chuckle at that point. I guess she never pulled out that run in rehearsals! Also, I know they don't really look that much alike, but I can't see the bass player without thinking of Jason Statham, haha.

Thanks for recording this Mattias. My hands were shaking so much I couldn't use the camera on my phone. That high sustained note cut through my body. Think all of us in the audience were in shock. Love the look on the base player's face - he probably hadn't heard her do it quite like that before.
I am absolutely convinced she could have done the whole concert acapella and still have been as mesmerizing as she was with the band. Let's face it, she can sing alone in a parking garage and l'd pay for a ticket.

I love this song, and I`m sick and tired of people compairng her. She is one of a kind and you all know it. I have heard music and played music my whole life, but i still cant touch the musicality of her soul.
This song helped so many of us through the pandemic, here she gave something extra. @GlennMorris offered her a tissue to wipe her tears, but those tears were needed - "as if he (grandpa) is in my tears." It was such an emotional time for all of us there - for now we have videos like this to remind us of the event, until the next concert...

I've replayed this version of "Million Miles" far too often to not leave another comment. It's my favorite rendition of this beautiful original song, although all are lovely, of course. So much emotion. I'm really hoping to hear her sing it live in NH this fall.
When Angelina's black and white studio version on Million Miles first came out many voice coaches and reactors speculated how they "had made" the "long double belt" at the end of the song possible. Some speculated in double take, some in autotune and other tricks. Between 4:35 and 4:44 in this live video Angelina proves that she just made it without any tricks 😍

Everytime I hear this live performance, I got goosebumps and tears in my eyes. It really touch my soul very deep. It was such a big honor to be at this performance. I hope next year she will be back in Europe for a performance and meet the other Angel fans again and listen to this piece of art😊.
I think I prefer the tempo of this version to the studio version. After listening to this one the original seems too rushed. This one feels more heartfelt.

I hope she is well by now. Mery has been quite the mentor and inspiration for this young lady. It's not just Angelina's beauty and artistry (which are incredible) that draw such affection; she projects genuine warmth, kindness, goodness, and generosity of spirit. Angelina stands for something separate and greater than herself. While she is human like the rest of us, we need more human beings like Angelina Jordan Astar.
