I usually don't really love female covers of thunderbringer since they really just bring the register ALL the way up and the appeal of it is that Luke Holt has this incredibly deep, rich voice
That being said, YOUR cover civer has that same aire of a threat, that impending doom

As a mezzo Soprano, I so agree whenever I even attempt Thunder Bringer acapella cause its basically an ear worm for me 😅 Hearing myself and other female cover artists with high registers makes me feel a little uneasy cause it just doesn’t fit the vibe of Zeus even as a woman. They’re really good! It just doesnt catch the vibe “I’m a superior asshole/bitch god” that Luke Holt kinda brings to Zeus.

I love it, one thing I prefer about the OG was that Penelope's voice would outshine the "when does the man become a monster" part, showing how Oddy was focusing more on his wife then the loss of his men and why he choose to give his men up over himself.

Ok but it's not just how AMAZING your voice is (and it 100% is) it's how you ACT!! This is a musical, the songs are supposed to be acted out and not just sung, and you knocked it out of the ballpark. It's absolutely excellent in every way, how am I only hearing this now??
