Ok so I'm 100% aware she has done this but I want more!!! I work 50-60 hrs a week and occasionally wanna look cute. Also challenge: Hair that is still socially acceptable after 12-16 hours of work.
@@DeKiltehow about down sleek middle part with the hair tucked perfectly behind both ears with hoop earrings to finish the look. That's my favorite style i think its very cute. Or a sleek ponytail or bun with a scrungie all 3 are very cute

The craziest thing I have done as a result of social distancing...hmmmm... I did a maternity photoshoot for my sister-in-law and brother from waaaay far away. Does that count? We planned this months ago and this will be their last baby, so I had to make it special! Don’t worry - I work in the healthcare field so not only did I utilize my mask from work, but I also used my super far lens so we stayed at least 20 feet apart. 😉 the pics turned out fantastic, too!

My friends lowkey roasted me for "putting an effort"by doing my hair, little do they know that those were the braids I slept in 😅
I like to sleep in sweaters, so in the morning I just throw my hair up in a messy bun and it looks like a cute lazy look, but it is actually my pj's 😂
Went to a birthday party earlier this year and someone asked how I got my hair in nice waves. She must have thought I used a flat iron or something when really all I did was let my hair dry in a dutch braid haha Didn't brush it or even check to see if it was good

Yes anna laura, introvert battery is overcharged and short circuiting, my mom literally drove 20 min to drop off cookies twice in last 2 weeks to get out of house lol been doing lots of dog walks lol my

I have started hanging out with my landlords and their toddler which I think is interesting because 2-year-olds are hilarious and so much fun to play with. Plus is keeps us all sane.
Most exciting thing... Well I'm gonna dye my hair navy blue today after work! Super excited about that!
The most fun thing (at least it's interesting to me) has been getting back to sewing. I finished some half done projects and made a few cloth masks for friend/family. I'm grateful to be able to work from home, (I have declined to use the zoom video option a couple times) so it's good to have something completely different to do.

Right, I was hoping this video would be about styles that are specifically flattering when you're filming yourself with a webcam or phone. My only tip is to wear a hat or bright lipstick to create a distraction. Subtle doesn't read well.
Move your camera up, so it is at least even with your eye-line and maybe even with the top of your head. Any time you have to look *down* at a camera, it's bad news.
Pro tip: Zoom has a "Touch up my appearance" feature in the video settings for those times when you haven't done (or don't care about doing because--let's be real--it's quarantine) your make-up.
My son had his 12th birthday party on Google hangouts. We decorated the house with Avengers stuff and had a trivia contest and watch him blow out his candle ( I swear I bought candles but couldn't find them so he ended up with a Yankee candle tea light wrapped in tinfoil)

I burst out laughing at Mike Combover! This was great. BUT what do I do with my terrible looking ends right now if I'm afraid of cutting them off myself? 🤔
Whatever you do, don't go and cut it with a regular pair of scissors, in a few days you honestly will be back where you started, but missing the length. So if you decide to cut it yourself (which I've been doing for about a year now and it is really not as scary as it seems) invest in some good hair scissors, and you'll never have to go to the hair salon tho get your ends trimmed again
I personally wouldn't suggest cutting your hair, anything could happen. You dont have to listen to my personal opinion though. 🙌
Brad Mondo, a hairstylist, posted a recent video on how to cut your hair by yourself if you want to watch that. It is called "Hairdressers Guide To Cutting Your Own Hair At Home". 😉
@@Emma-279 I think it really just depends on how long your hair is, the longer your hair, the easier to cut. But for all their own😊

It's not the most interesting, but I've started BWW (braiding while walking) I don't look in the mirror when braiding my hair anyways (it confuses me because I overthink what I'm doing), so I figured I might as well get some exercise, and I get bored.
Girl same, I can never look in the mirror while braiding, it always ends up so shitty looking!

LOVE your classic tutorial type videos. The most interesting thing I’ve done is have myself a nice trim into a lob, I’ve been self coloring and trimming my bangs forever but this is he first time I’ve done a complete haircut!

Such a fun idea ^-^ I have to wear a headset for working at home, and am so tired of just putting my long hair up in a ponytail or a bun on the back of my head in order to get it out of the way of the headset. I also have a circular face and really don't like how i look in video calls w/ my hair up for the headset... So not flattering...
A couple weeks ago i was so bored at work i Dutch braided it back into two space buns! ^-^ I also have a mohawk (deathhawk? shaved sides? w/e) and it looked p cute when it was up like that! Would you have any other suggestions for updos that keep my hair out of the way of the headset?

It's not so much that I've been doing crazy things so much as the normal things seeming crazy--I went in the CAR the other day! My mom was dropping off homemade masks and I tagged along and I didn't set foot out of the vehicle but it was SO COOL!! Also I'm out of clear elastics and all my bobby pins disappeared and it's painful how many good hair days I've been having when nobody's going to see it...
It was cool to ride in the car? 😂 Wow. Can’t imagine being excited over that! Lol I’ve been driving 5-6 days a week since this quarantine started.
ccap3211 What! In Australia you can’t go out and drive unless it’s for food shopping or healthcare. My sister is a Learner driver and your not even allowed to drive for the sake of going for a drive. It’s MAD!
Whovian Girl I mean restaurants are still open for deliveries, drive thru's, and to go orders. And grocery stores, pharmacies, banks, mechanic shops, dentists, vets, cell phone shops, gas stations, gun stores, and even liquor stores are all still open. There are even a few people working at some local clothing boutiques that are delivering orders to people's houses or doing curbside orders. I'm sure there are even more places I'm forgetting! They encourage everyone to stay home and you can get a citation if you're in a group with more than 10 people in public but we can still drive around all we want. It's not a risk to anyone as long as you stay in your car. Besides, is anyone going to know if you're driving to go to the grocery store or just going on a drive for the hell of it? If you get pulled over for any reason you can just say you're going to get food. Surely they can't do anything when you say that. And you're obviously allowed to walk around outside right? Lots of people are going on walks and runs in my neighborhood. We still have a few Starbucks open here, the ones that are just kiosks inside grocery stores. And local coffee shops are open for to go orders of course. And I'm still going to work everyday so things aren't that bad! I already did the majority of my shopping online and didn't eat out much before all this and I live with my significant other and I work with most of my friends so things are fairly normal in my life still.
I am generally SO happy that I cut my hair short (pretty much the same length as Kayley) last year, but seeing Anna Laura's hair always makes me want to grow it back out. Her hair is so beautiful in any hairstyle!

Ive been bellydancing for 7 years, and because of social distancing so many of my dancers I know are offering classes online. Many of them are too far away to dance with normally, so its really exciting for me to learn from them and get my jiggle on!

The most interesting thing I’ve done in quarantine was last night me and my two brothers and sister went and jumped on our trampoline in our backyard at 8:00 at night and we almost froze because it was like 45° outside. We were just done with being inside. 😂
I've had to figure out how to teach 30 5-year-olds over the internet, so that's been really interesting!
I did the mirror trick earlier today and took a photo! I live for this trick! I always take a photo so I can zoom in on certain parts and see them super up close.

In march I got my hair dyed dark brown with red highlights which I kept for 4 months looking pretty decent. In June when restrictions were lessened, I went from a bob to a pixie cut, it has made the second lock down in Melbourne more bearable.

Most interesting thing quarantine has driven me to: I have given literally everyone in my house a haircut😂 Mom, dad, sister, brother, and self. Fortunately they all turned out well!

My fiance and I made wax seals for our wedding invites.
I also work in bridal and my store is obviously closed but we started doing virtual meetings with our brides to get to know them better so that when we reopen, they feel like they know us.

If I ever had a zoom call, I could not do my hair in 5 minutes! Getting my long naturally thick curly hair into a high ponytail along took way longer than 5 minutes!
I'm in high school and on dance team. Dance season is done, but starts up again in June, so I'm trying to maintain the fitness required. I've been doing all my schoolwork at home, and attempting to come up with my own workouts since I now don't have gym class. Life is interesting and yet oh so boring.😁

The craziest thing I have done in quarantine is download TIKTOK like most of the over 40 mamas stuck at home has. My new favorite pastime is sending goofy tiktoks to my oldest daughter that just turned 18. I feel like the app has really let me up my Mom game because I usually annoy her by sending random memes. Videos are MUCH better. 😂
