For anyone who wishes to tell the FULL story about Assange, you must include how he manipulated the American public and did this key thing that got Trump elected. I've realised as time has gone on that not all Americans are like their Governments. But then again, not much has been done by the people to stop what their Government has done...it keeps going on and on, and a huge portion of the population are ok with it. Does that then make Americans responsible in some way? I say so.
Huh? That's primarily the way it works! For instance; it's more unlikely - though still quite often - that the US would the charge a US citizen of spying. The norm seems instead for the US to accuse the Russians or Chinese of spying. Too many tourists to North Korea get locked up for spying merely for taking what they thought were innocent photos.
This is what true journalism looks like. You've not only provided the information, but also incentivise people to look into this important matter as it has a huge impact on our freedoms. And on top of that you've provided a solution, so whoever lives in the US please contact your local representative it's imperative!
