John Elefante......what a talent. What a human being. Your time with Kansas, and after, ages so well........Trust me, so many can not appreciate or thank you enough. I hope you know that.
I loved the interview. Ron you are a great interviewer as you ask all the right questions and it felt like watching two guys sitting down just catching up. I really enjoyed it. John was great. I knew John when they lived in Southern Cal. I was married to one of his cousins for 20 years. In fact, Brotherhood played at our wedding in 1972. They were a top notch band. There was two other cousins in that band with John and Dino. I will always remember the first song they sang at our wedding was Jeremiah was a bullfrog. Very popular song back then. They did a great job. Also, we went to see John when he was on tour in 1982 with Kansas in Pittsburg. They played over by the Three Rivers stadium. John came out on stage and really performed. Gotta say, I really appreciate the intro/outro music, especially because it showcases the instantly recognizable bass work of the late, great Tim Chandler. His genius is greatly missed.
