how is he real; he has one of the most beautiful velvety voices i've ever heard and he's such a talented musician and songwriter, and i am in love.
I love how in the guitar case says FRAGILE! in gigantic red letters. It's an amazing guitar, really old, great sound. He cares about it a lot.

I first heard this song when I worked off-duty security for a wedding in a public park (since alcohol was being served they had to have a cop present). The couple's first dance was to this song and I immediately went to the DJ when the dance was over and said "WHO WAS THAT?!" I wish this song had been around in 1999 so I could have had it for when I got married to my wife.

Ajw1984 He's referring to how physical attributes prevail over talent in significance in mainstream music. The most prevalent examples being entertainers like Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber(not going for defamation here, it's just that they fit this example perfectly). You can even go on a little journey to see this in action. Go to one of their videos and see how the positive comments are polluted with remarks on their appearances. On most City and Colour videos, there's always remarks about his voice, guitar playing, and lyrics with the occasional "I WANT TO MARRY THIS MAN"
Either that or he thinks ugly people can't sing and that Dallas Green is ugly.

Bobbi Banks that would be a run. A riff is more of an instrumental thing. Definition says it’s a repeated phrase. A run is just kinda doing something freely in the music. Although that run is almost on the verge of being a fall which is where the sound drops in pitch towards the end of the note.
