I picked her from her 1st audition on American idol that she would win. I have every CD. I like the cds bc i love her other songs she recorded that were released. Saw her live up close and person with my granddaughter Cry Pretty tour we were in the best standing she was right there. Her singing live is exceptional. ❤

You hit the nail on the head when you said this could be used for sports. Carrie, along with 2 others wrote this song for the 52nd super bowl. NBC was broadcasting the game and they liked the song so much they used it in their coverage of the Olympics which happened to overlap with the Superbowl.

Living in Spain in ‘86, many of us American teens were privileged to volunteer during the Special Olympics. It was a week of fun and we got to meet Olympians from all over the world. 2 were actually kids whose parents were in the military and also stationed at Torrejon Air Base, so we knew them.
I loved this song the first time I heard it, they need to play it more!
Throughout the clips, Carrie is lifting weights after it shows Ali, & she is skating & dancing & exercising. Her hubby Mike Fisher is a pro hockey player & there are clips of him with his team also. This is a fabulous tune!

I played D2 college football and I got there from some DNA (my dad was D1 OL)… I was never anywhere near as good, but I worked my butt off and got a scholarship. Joined the army after college and I was still not the fastest or strongest, but I got through airborne school, deployed, received a bronze star.

Kathy here - I know Carrie Underwood hasn't been around as a lot of other female country singers, but in my opinion, she is the GOAT! Not a song of hers that I haven't liked. You want to hear her pipes for real? You need to listen to her live version of How Great Thou Art, featuring Vince Gill. OMG her voice on that one. And Vince Gill, his harmonies with her, and then don't forget to listen to his guitar solo. He is one of the most requested males to be asked to be a feature on a song. He can make that guitar talk.
I know she's talented and gorgeous, but tbh, I haven't watched her at all since she won American Idol (oopsy) becoz I'm not at all a country fan. But seeing you guys react, I appreciate her big voice and her message. Loving your reactions guys, plus you guys make me laugh every single time cuz of your amazing energy with one another.
